Hi all
Paid stuff done for the week, a couple of extra hours banked for another time. Very windy walk after work, tried to really step it out but legs felt a bit heavy. Burgers and oven chips for tea, Rhubarb crumble made and eaten.
I have run the hoover around but flying has been minimal, must catch up over the weekend. Washing is up to date at least.
Under my heated blanket now, freezing here today.7 -

Love the hippo, pigpen!
Glad you've been signed off, Valli xx
I had a successful trip to the Archives today and found out a bit of information about the origins of the mystery church investment fund. Then on the way home I did a big shop at the nice new MrAl's, put everything away when I got back, sat down to drink a cuppa, and promptly fell asleep! so I've had to do some work this evening to make up for lost time. I'm out all day tomorrow on a work-related course, but at a very nice place which serves delicious food, so it shouldn't be too much of a hardship.
Rosie managed to be sick not once but twice while I was out (she'd been eating fresh grass) but - to my utter surprise - DH managed to clear up the worst of it. That's a first. I hope she doesn't repeat the trick tomorrow.

Oh well that wasn't the week I had planned.
Did my gym swim as usual on Tuesday, Covid test at lunchtime (after the weekend's visiting) was negative. Felt a sore throat in the evening.
Wed am woke up feeling a full blown cold, cancelled Body Pump. Slept for much of the day. Hm, a bad cold. Managed to do the online assessment in the afternoon.
Thursday woke up with very little voice, cancelled online assessment. Slept and sweated. Cancelled lake swim. Woke a bit brighter, went to drum lesson.
This morning, after a bad night thinking 'chest infection', cancelled zumba. Discussed with friend re planned theatre trip tomorrow that, as she was visiting an elderly relative on Sunday, I'd do another Covid test although she was really concerned about sharing my cold. Agreed when we meet not to kiss or get close. Tested. AAAGHH. Two lines. Most unimpressed; was really looking forward to tomorrow's 'Wild Tango' show, then Full Moon Swim on Monday.
You may notice that I haven't actually mentioned flying .......but Mr Flyman has been magnificent even though as of tonight, he is banished to the spare room. He has tested negative and long may it last, as he is the one who is vulnerable. Not to mention the very long-awaited follow up with the RA consultant next week to see if he can get new meds.....he needs to test negative on Tuesday in order to go......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -

Good morning my lovelies xx
Ooo piggers - I have hippo envy 😍
GWS Narc0 and any other poorlies xx
Hugs to Valli xx
I'm up, made my bed and supped my first brew. Workmen hammering on the new build opposite's garage roof at 7.20 am helped me out of bed. They've gone now ..... Muttley muttering under breath.
Another brew and breakfast before I do anything else methinks.
Enjoy your weekend ladies.

Hugs Valli, rest up, limited fly duties.Piggers love the knitting and hippoNarcO gwsI'm on doggie duties for next door, as they have gone out early for the day, and cannot take the dog. The dog it seems needs a walk this morning, then letting out at lunch time, then nothing else, they are not due back until about 7pm, so I think I will go round late afternoon to let dog out.OH gone on motorbike to meet his brother, they are each going half way, as it is 6 hours in total or there bouts to go the whole way.Lovely and sunny here, so going to walk to local car boot about 3 miles away, and take said doggie with me.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
