Well it's been a strange week here. OH is no longer employed since Monday afternoon, although he still has to go in next Monday to sort out paperwork. So a BIG change in out usual routine.
Some gardening has been done everyday so that's looking much better. A storage box has been found and booked, not as big as we wanted but we've decided to be more ruthless with what we keep. We are not keeping 'just in case', given the cost to move and store stuff it is making us really think hard. Provisionally set a moving date although not booked anything yet, that is still on the list to do. This week was dedicated to doing physical stuff (mainly gardening) to make sure we didn't just laze around all day as there was no structure, next week is admin, getting final papers from work, registering as unemployed and the tax return.
House is still tidy, although I think next week will have to be floor washing!
Off to the other house tomorrow and going to theatre with DD1 on the way there, I'm so excited!
Hugs to all9 -
Hi all
Enjoy the theatre Mademoiselle.
Busy day at the paid stuff, cycled there and back and it was very blustery coming home. I have to be back at 6.30pm but will take the car.
DS1 is supposed to be coming for tea, but I have no idea what to feed him. I need to order the dogs prescription but have flopped on the sofa and dont want to move.
Oh and I just knelt on the floor to put check the dogs ears (!) and I have dog hairs on my knees. How is that possible, I hoovered yesterday! I really should move ..9 -
Books given to L.
Picked up a coffee table from J - free so very mse 😊. I had a coffee table stored at mum and dad's but when I finally had enough floor and went to fetch it, it had disappeared. Pops denies any knowledge so it's a mystery where that's gone 🤔
Heyho sorted now.
I've also pulled out more goosegrass from the honeysuckle and random stalks of grass from my lavender border. Every little helps 🙂

Wm set before I went to work. Busy day, then home to pre prepped dahl in the sc. Good job too, as I really didn’t feel like cooking anything much. Packed lunch for tomorrow prepped (more salad, hoping slinky will be positive for the weekend’s weigh in), DH has WULTD.Am saving sewing bee catch up until tomorrow evening, when I hope to have charge of the remote control. This evening I am still motivated with my new knitting, but the novelty might wear off soon.
Congratulations on the next stage in life, Mademoiselle. Exciting times.8 -

I need a smallish watering can.. our big one is too heavy and I wouldn't want to displace the 10000000000's of slimy invertebrates within. My cats need to stop eating my spier-babies.WM on with towels and OH's boots..I have a big basket full of wet stuff to hang out.Dry stuff folded and put away though I need to whizz the TD contents upstairs too.. lots of undies!Pixie has swimming next week so I am lining up 5 bags each with a towel so she can just move goggles each evening.. and the swimming costumes, of which she has 4 can be alternated.Dots swimming bag sorted for Thursday.DW emptied and refilledBeasties fed and in pj'sWe need to drop Meem at my sisters to dogsit for the weekend, take Lion his duck to DD1's and I may demand a speedy run in Tesc0 so I don't have to go in for more than 5 minutes tomorrow. After the drama of last weekend I do not have the inclination to torture myself or the children.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7
