Hi folks, hope you don't me joining in on the fun. I tend to do more of a cooking plan –– food I intend to cook for the week, in no particular order. Some of it is meant to go together like a pan of roasted vegetables paired with some salmon on another night, while some items are listed to be stand alone. Here's what's scrabbling around my brain for this week:
Yellow lentil soup – OH made this on Friday and we'll be working our way through it this week for breakfasts & lunches
Turkey Keema Curry — Ground Turkey Keema and Peas
Cauliflower and potato curry – will partially be eaten with the keema and then eaten on its own
Roasted cauliflower & other veg – roasted these on Saturday and we can use them in salads this week
Brown lentil, feta, and roasted veg salad (some of the veg above)
Mexican black beans
Ham hock – I boiled that today (Sunday) and we can pick at it during the week or add to salads
Brown basmati rice and bulgur wheat – grains for sides and salad bowls5 -
Change of plan for a couple of days! Today DH ate at the golf club at lunchtime so just wanted a sandwich tonight so I had a crab stick salad. So tomorrow night's dinner will be the beef bourguignon we were going to have tonight. The chicken skewers will move to Wednesday night.
Spag bol won't happen this week on Thursday and then we will be back on track from Friday!

Tonights dinner been changed from Pork fillet ,to tuna and sweetcorn salad with jacket spud owing to the weather turning very warm today so I want a quick easy meal to make instead of having the stove on and making the kitchen too warm.7

Tonight, should have been a tofu meal, but I have pushed this much further down the plan as have no tofu.I changed it to Aubergine and Tamarind curry which originally was tomorrow; but i I might make this and freeze it; because I've had some of the aubergine in a wrap for dinner, as running out of dinner-y things to eat.
I ended up having Ramen Cabbage stir fry from www.buildyourownbyte.comInstead, I am having jacket potato to use up homemade coleslaw.
Cheap and delicious!
Instant noodles are like gold dust at the moment, well the really cheap ones; so I'm lucky I had the foresight to get the big packs a while back, that they sell in Oriental shops in like a roll
I hope everyone is doing better than me sticking with the meal plan 😉GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £76.30/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. i have avoided soups again as still have 3 servings left in freezer But may squeeze one in As so easy to do and have on hand. I had one today from fridge been there 10 days and still lush with a bit of melted cheese. and very filling.
I am quite repetitive i know but have a large veg odd box once a fortnight and just me to get through it all Could go smaller but like the different varieties of veg you get with the large box
Feel free to make improvements or suggestions
I am getting Potatoes, Onions, Tomatoes, Mooli Radish, Cucumber*, Lettuce*, Rocket*, Chard, Squash.
I try to avoid sugar and pasta and bread21k savings no debt7
