The (wild) blackberries are ripening up so well worth the odd scratch to be able to have some fresh and still have loads for the freezer. Expecting to have to buy more fresh veg early next week so not sure what will be available/nice to have with my sardines. For some reason it is really hard to buy broad beans, so I think next year I’ll have a go at growing my own.Fri. Nachos, blackberries and kefir
Sat. Broad bean and tomato pasta, blackberries and kefir
Sun. Roast lamb, broad beans, mange tout, carrots, roast new potatoes, apricot crumble and custard
Mon. Ditto but boiled new potatoes rather than roast
Tues. out
Wed. Sardines, fresh veg, blackberries and kefir

Just one slight change last night. Lunch out was more filling than expected (there may have been chips involved 😉) so I just had the tuna steak with salad. All organised for next week and shopping list done (small again thank goodness). Only planned until Thursday as I’m off on Friday and need to finalise plans with visitors.
Sat - sausage and sweet potato traybake
Sun - smoked salmon sandwich (out for lunch)
Mon - salmon with pesto and green bean pasta
Tues - beans on toast
Wed - prawn egg fried rice
Thurs - tuna steak with something tbc6 -

Mon - Smoked sausage, peppers and rice
Tues - Beef stifado, orzo, green beans and crusty bread
Wed - Roman gnocchi, tomato sauce, green beens
Thurs - Chicken and veg stir-fry

I was sure I'd posted last week but no. I must have been sidetracked and then forgot! Oops. Anyway, here's this week's plan.
Sat - H/m tomato & red pepper soup, cheese sandwiches
Sun - Roast beef in gravy (from freezer), cabbage, mash, Yorkshires. Rhubarb crumble & custard for afters.
Mon - Salad, probably pilchards (need to bake a wholemeal loaf)
Tue - Chicken stir fry, noodles
Wed - Egg & chips
Thu - Beef curry, rice
Fri - Cod fillets

As expected this week didn't completely go to plan. Thankfully spare fresh bits are veg which will be fine until used.

S - Yoghurt marinated roast shoulder of lamb, naan bread wraps, salad, tzatziki (my cucumbers are finally producing) Greek style roasted potatoes
M - Caribbean-style chicken curry with rice (c/f from last week)
T - Bratwurst and fried onion baguettes, gravy dip, salad
W - One pan sausage pasta with garlic bread
T- Pork steaks with BBQ sauce, rice & beans, salad8 -
Sat. Caramelised onion tart, roast veg, pineapple clafoutis, kefir
Sun. Steak, caramelised onions, mushrooms, asparagus, stewed plums, custard
Mon. Vegetable lasagne, salad, rest of the clafoutis, kefir
Tues. Out
Wed. Mediterranean veg tart, salad, stewed plums, custard
Thur. hm faggots, caramelised onions, gravy, some sort of leafy green veg, blackberry and apple crumble
Fri. Probably out
