Last A*DA shop today for June so meals for the week are planned as below
Tuesday - Sausage, Vegetables & Mash
Wednesday - Chicken Pie, Vegetables & Mash
Thursday -Jacket Potatoes with Tuna & Cheese, Salad
Friday - Salmon, Vegetables & Chips
Saturday - DH Pasta Dish

Planning to change how i shop from 1st July, giving up online A*DA deliveries & trying L*dl, Iceland & BM bargains as they are close by so meal planning will become essential so i don't overspend by sticking to a shopping list.

Some inspiring meal plans here - so useful to see what others are planning.
Monday - Cuban prawn pasta (we seem to have a lot of frozen prawns lurking in the freezer and miraculously the supply never seems to get used up)
tues - tuna and hard boiled egg salad with jersey royals (potatoes were a very lucky olio find)
wednesday - Iranian vegetable stew which will use up olio butternut squash served with tomato and chilli cous cous
thursday - at an outside concert so will take a picnic using up bits and bobs we already have and might request some sandwiches from olio
friday - being treated to chippy tea 😋
Saturday - beef burgers, sweet potato wedges and salad
sunday - cooking for family - either roast or bbq depending on the weather4 -
Short week for me this week as been away over the weekend. Nice weather forecast for a few days here so quite a lot of salad in the plan - let’s hope the forecast’s right 🙃

Wed - bacon, egg and asparagus salad
Thurs - salmon, new potatoes and salad or veg
Fri - butternut squash and black bean fajitas5 -
Yes, lots of great ideas here - definitely going to hard boil some eggs now for lunchtime salads 😊
Easy meal plan this week as end of term craziness and cricket matches mean quick dinners!
Monday - left over Father’s Day Chinese takeaway (did 4 people 2x meals each, so pleased with that)
Tuesday - broccoli Mac and cheese with salad
Wednesday - chicken curry with naan bread
Thursday - Jacket potatoes with either beans and cheese, or tuna mayo
Friday - sausages/salmon with new pots and veg
Saturday - homemade pizza night
Sunday - HM chicken pie, new pots and veg
Lunches for the troops will be pesto pasta, sausage rolls or chicken salad/egg mayo wraps, along with the usual veg sticks, yoghurt etc. My lettuces are starting to bolt in this heat so I’m having various salads.
Fingers crossed, should only have to buy mozzarella and puff pastry, along with the usual extra milk and bananas later this week 🤞Books read 2023 - 49/753 -

Loads of amazing ideas here - feeling very inspired for future meal plans. I usually plan Sunday to Saturday but as it was Father's day I was going to do Monday to Saturday and then I wasn't very well on Monday so DH took care of dinner (an impromptu BBQ) and so we go from Tuesday to Saturday this week:
Tuesday: leftover chicken pesto pasta from the freezer
Wednesday: sweet and sour pork and rice
Thursday: Stir Fry for me / ? for DH
Friday: BBQ pulled pork in the slow cooker with leftover coleslaw and potato wedges
Saturday: Sausage tray bake (finally!)
I bought one pork joint for about £4.50 that's going to be for the sweet and sour tonight and then the pulled pork later on in the week and I'm sure both meals will provide leftovers too. Lunches are greek salad with grilled chicken for me and sandwiches for DH.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173 -
