Sales of EVs were growing at a huge rate before the chip shortages, so I think the shortages is a red herring. It may be why companies like Citroen have decided to drop their ICE lines for some cars, though.1 -

like tesla - no annual mandatory services. 1st one - recommended (not mandatory) is after 2 years and it is ~300 gbp I thinkI own an EV. AMA0
