Oh dear. He just got a whole load more negative feedback
That puts his feedback below 98% which means not eligible for buyer protection. I hope it's still valid for me as I bought when he had 100% positive feedback

No but I'm guessing the others who have been conned must have...
I doubt he'd even pick up the phone. I'll try and get his details now though, just in case he gets banned from e-bay and I can't get them if I need to.0 -
Perhaps it would be worth getting in touch with the people who have been refunded and ask them how they managed it and if they have any contact details. If you explained what has happened, I'd expect them to be more forthcoming.:T Hurrah for MSE0

Hi I already contacted one person and here's the response he gave me:
"hi, he refunded me and statedthat his account had been frozen, i offered other payment as i wanted the ps3 but he never got back"
I have requested the seller's contact information through the e-bay request tool.
He has an 0800 number and apparently his company's name is face2face :rotfl:0 -
where does the guy live, for that sort of money I think its worth driving a fair few miles just to see the guy.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0

Personally i would be calling this number, the guy might not want the hassle but did want your cash. I would not just rely on others doing the phoning and communicating. The more pro-active you are the better the £800 will be in your pocket.0 -

Contact the buyer who paid by cheque, he will have the address of the scammer.

Wow. It just keeps coming! The guys who only spent £265 are lucky, in a way :rotfl:0
