Yeah I bought an ipod and it didn't turn up. I registered a complaint with ebay, paypal and my credit card company. I did get the money back but it was a lot of hassle. I never use my debit card now. Shame a few scammers ruin everything for the rest of us.:T Hurrah for MSE0 -
Live by the sword, die by the sword. You "purchased" these PS3s for £399. You are selling/have sold PS3s @ £499. Welcome to ComeUppance Time.0

what on earth has that got to do with anything?
if the OP buys for 400 and sells for 500, whats the problem? even if the retail price is normally 400, if peeps are willing to pay 500, so be it. thats the free market at work.
supply and demand, you cant beat it.Get some gorm.0 -
Was it supposed to be sent via recorded devilery?
1. Escalate claim on Paypal as soon as possible
2. Request seller contact information directly from ebay: http://search.ebay.co.uk/ws/search/AdvSearch?sofindtype=9#ContactInfo
3. Report to police station & bring printed copies of emails & contact details
Could someone please advise me as to how you pay by credit card via ebay? Whenever it gives me the option to pay for an item by paypal, I am only able to choose a direct transfer from my bank account. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks for that. That's why I was hesitant about posting. Maybe she should go and complain to all the high street retailers :rotfl:0 -

There should be a link that says something like other/more funding options. Click on this and choose your credit card. It will try and give some nonsense to change your mind but ignore that and says you are sure. This should make it possible.:T Hurrah for MSE0 -

Absolutely nothing wrong with that IMO, except it is a bit of faux pas to use the same account to buy and sell from.
If you get a retalitory neg from this sale, then it's not gonna look good as a seller, and if buyers start looking through your feedback, it'll be obvious to them where they may be able to get them cheaper.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

Fair comment about free market and all that - it's just that it seems a bit mad when you can get the 60Gb PS3 for £349 at Argos with cast iron warranty etc.
But I suppose there's no fool like an eBay Christmas shopper fool!!0 -
Try to find a 60Gb PS3 in Argos and you'll be lucky!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
