Sorry.
I searched for AI holidays on Jet2 website and copied the text I saw.
I can't remember the name of the hotel.0 -

I can't remember the name of the hotel. No worries.I suspect that the vast majority of punters who have focused on the hotel AI drinks issue have probably not realised that there are other restrictions in place - a curb on Happy Hours, BOGOF deals and so called Booze Cruises.

I sat on a TUI/Thomson flight a few years back enjoying the inflight entertainment being provided by a family two rows ahead of us. They were arguing with the cabin crew that they did not need to pay for all the drinks, the Pringles and the boxes of chips that they just ordered because they booked an All-Inclusive holiday.

Hi Noodle
It is a bit hidden you are right i.e. its there in the description of the All Inclusive but a lot of people (who arent aware of these Spanish rules in Magaluf etc) would very likely not read
Have a look at this one - its the Samos in Magaluf with Jet2holidays - https://www.jet2holidays.com/balearics/majorca/magalluf/hotel-samos?ds_rl=1206481&ds_rl=1296397&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmuiTBhDoARIsAPiv6L-Vb1gS28ROXud5IND9olTR6fYKSnkNbkNSTXOAOjm7wvZe4UVcPIsaAkkQEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds#tab-overview
So its there if you click on facilities (not everyone will click on that know they should but they wont) and read but I personally think it should be also at the bottom of the front page in Additional information as this then shows again during the booking journey
As a Travel Agent obviously i highlight this to my Customers
Easyjet holidays its more obvious as you have to click the All Inclusive box to add it so you see it during the booking journey

TUI seem to have dropped all the hotels affected so cant say for them - if they have i think its a smart move
Summary - I think the restrictions MUST show for every booking without customers having to click on a tab to see whats included
Hope that helps shed some light

If I was 'high up' in any of these tour operators, I'd want this information to be transparently clear to customers to avoid complaints. I don't see why they didn't/don't do this.MATTR5 said:Hi Noodle

However, I think there should be an element of personal responsibility here.
When booking accommodation, I read reviews, location information, accommodation facilities, room facilities etc because I don't believe I should make assumptions about something I'm paying for.
I extend this to anything I buy, on-line or not.
Re TUI dropping AI in these areas, I noticed that when I looked at their website.
I wouldn't be surprised if other companies followed.
That's a pity for those people who want AI food and facilities but aren't bothered about drinks being available 24/7.1 -
