Then I would take it up with whichever company I was considering booking with.hongkongfooi said:

Yes, I do really mean that.gorgeousme said:
Do you really mean that Pollycat? T&Cs are usually 2-3 pages long in size 10 font. Personally, I have never met a person who reads ALL the T&Cs attached to a holiday booking.Pollycat said:
If people don't read T&Cs, they deserve what they get.The_Fat_Controller said:@hongkongfooi, they do, but how many people actually read the Ts and Cs ?
Maybe that's why I've never had an issue with any purchase or booking...
I've looked at one of the LoveHolidays hotels in Magaluff.
It clearly says (not in the T&Cs and not in size 10 font):Guests can enjoy six alcoholic drinks per day (three at lunch and three at dinner). Further alcoholic drinks will be charged locally.
So have LoveHolidays changed their website since 'angry' and 'upset' Gary complained on Twitter or was that information there but Gary missed it?0 -
Already booked and the terms and conditions state alcohol served 12 hours per day0

So what does the company you have booked with say about the discrepancy between what they state on their website and the Spanish government directive?hongkongfooi said:Already booked and the terms and conditions state alcohol served 12 hours per day1 -

In the pre-covid days we were looking at AI in Mauritius and were surprised to discover that most of the hotels there limited the times alcoholic drinks were available. Like most people, I had just assumed that AI was precisely what it said on the tin. That said, I did read the information in order to know exactly what I would be buying. It wasn't buried in umpteen pages of T&C.

Does it say unlimited alcohol served 12 hours per day? If not, the statement itself may well be accurate.

What do you want the outcome of the call to be -change of board or change of destination?hongkongfooi said:We are ringing today
If you can show that the website is not clear/misleading and you have a reasonable request , it’s possible that they will agree to a change . Please let us know how you get on.0 -
I've looked at a random hotel in Magaluf on JET2 website:hongkongfooi said:

Why do you think T&Cs exist?
It's not just blurb to pad out a website.
Why wouldn't people read T&Cs?
And why would they think - when they haven't bothered to read the T&Cs - that they have been mis-sold?
We've established that on some holiday websites this information about limited drinks is clearly shown - and not just in the T&Cs and not just in 10 point font.
If the OP booked with TUI and they really aren't clear about this limitation, I hope they manage to sort out an alternative holiday.0 -
OP
If you are sure that the company you booked with have not made the alcohol limitation clear, I would take screenshots of the relevant pages.0
