@hongkongfooi, they do, but how many people actually read the Ts and Cs ?
If people don't read T&Cs, they deserve what they get.

Do you really mean that Pollycat? T&Cs are usually 2-3 pages long in size 10 font. Personally, I have never met a person who reads ALL the T&Cs attached to a holiday booking.

    Now you have  :)
I've spent years on tripadvisor reading the 'it's a scam' rants from people who haven't.
It's not so bad if you have a list of what to check and scan through though it's easier on paper where you can highlight to check back.
Same applies to insurance. List what you need. Once done you keep the list on your gadget of choice

As said above this is not recent news, was flagged up on MSE forums a couple or so years ago - and in certain identified locations only.
The local government in the Balearics has been obliged to impose these restrictions due to the unacceptable behaviour of some foreign tourists, Brits well quoted.
There will still be AI hotels which are not effected.
Punters should be advised in advance of booking of course.

No holiday company warns of this, they all still say all inclusive.

Yes, I do really mean that.
Maybe that's why I've never had an issue with any purchase or booking...

I've looked at one of the LoveHolidays hotels in Magaluff.
It clearly says (not in the T&Cs and not in size 10 font):
Guests can enjoy six alcoholic drinks per day (three at lunch and three at dinner). Further alcoholic drinks will be charged locally.

So have LoveHolidays changed their website since 'angry' and 'upset' Jason complained on Twitter or was that information there but Jason missed it?

Well I suppose the proof of the pudding will be shown on their balance sheets soon enough....

Those hotels will either, lose bookings (and revenue) because their previous "target market" has gone elsewhere, or
They'll become the "upmarket and sober" establishment they strive to be, and will attract a more discerning cliental.

Time will tell if they've just bitten the hand that feeds them.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

What an uncharitable and unpleasant post.

    LoveHolidays do.

In the thread I link to in my earlier post, someone makes the point that not all-inclusive deals are the same.
It won't be false advertising if the rule about 6 drinks hadn't been introduced at the time of booking. Also, not all "all inclusive" offers are the same.  I have seen variants which only have AI during certain hours of the day, others which limit the type of drinks....  One place we stayed in Cyprus (we were not AI) only served drinks for AI customers from one bar and only permitted 2 drinks to be purchased at one visit.  That resulted in very long queues at times, so was effectively reducing the intake anyway.
