Hugs @beanielou. xHi turtles, sorry for being absent the last few days. Work is very busy and I’m having to spend a lot of time on the laptop. After dinner last night, I worked until 10pm. It’s tiring and makes me feel hazy. I know it’s not healthy but it’s an annual 10-day event at work that just has to get done. Anyway I’ve been limiting phone screen time to give my eyes a rest.A quick recap of the last few days:SaturdayGrocery delivery day and a few other spends. Woke up at 5am feeling stiff and sore. I got up (after a lot of trying to convince myself) and went for a walk while listening to an audiobook downloaded free from the library. Then went to a park with DS.SundaySpent the afternoon at GF’s house and the weather was so nice we sat out in the garden and had good chat while our DSs played together.I’d usually have an order in for next week’s grocery delivery but OH and I will be in London at our friends’ wedding. As we only need food for half a week, I signed up for a recipe box to arrive on our return. It includes 4 meals and cost £12.25 (with a 65% discount for new customers). And having gone through cash-back site TCB I should get £12.75 back meaning the box has earned me 50p. 👍🏻MondaySo, so busy at work. OH was picking up kilt for the wedding at lunchtime so I went with him. I wanted to get some foundation anyway (I haven’t worn the stuff in years - now a tinted moisturiser girl). I went to a makeup counter in B00ts where my face was scanned by what looked like an iPad. It decided the shade of foundation I needed. The lovely shop assistant gave me two free samples, as well as samples of day and night cream. The samples are big enough to do me for the wedding and more. Pleased as this will save me buying any. The foundation samples she gave me cost £36 a bottle!!!NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7

@Thrifty_Taylor I can send you some prepped sheets. It is great fun. I am in the middle of a small exhibition project, but have just been told there is no budget for it, so luckily I have only spend £40 so far, so am just using cheap materials and stuff - like kit - I laready have. The cyano type mix was under my sink since a sunny day in 2018 or 19 and still fine and fresh. Happy to share insta account, but you will need to message as don't want to impose.
Gratitudes - old chems working, taking a slap on the chin from a fb writing group with reflection and a pause, still deciding what to say - if anything. For ds1 having the confidence to share his life frustrations with me, after he nose dived after he had a lovely weekend away. For a fresh day today, even if it will be a windy one.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning turtles
No NSD yest, I bought tickets for an exhibition for me and my sister when she comes to visit at the end of the month, and paid bf for my share of drinks at the weekend that he paid for on his card. Bf was in a bit of a slump about how much he’d spent on drinks. Personally I think a sober stint would do him (and me) good. Sent off my tax return and I am getting a small rebate.
I’ve had a painful and stiff neck since Saturday, must have slept funny, so I missed my exercise class yesterday and will try to do some cycling on the static bike today, nothing too strenuous. I will try to do some yoga tomorrow.
Today I need to look further into the investments I want to make.
Asked my boss about WFH which was on my list to sort out. He would prefer me to be mainly in the office until I’ve completed two years’ service, he is OK with me WFH occasionally but not as much as other people do. (generally in my company they can work up to 30% of the time at home) I am a little disappointed but glad I asked and there’s only another year to go until I can do the full 30% (unless they change the rule by then)
Meditation and MPs done today, went to bed early last night but couldn't read as eyes were too tired, so fell asleep super early. Lovely.
Grateful for sis coming end of the month, for sun (although air conditioning was up full whack in the office yesterday ugh) and fresh ginger tea.
Have a great Tuesday turtles

Shrewbue, I'd have thought that with the fuel price increases the Aircon would be turned down a tad?!
