Good evening Turtles
Today has been a NSD. I had a lovely lie in ( I should have been working but someone needed Tuesday off so I swapped) and spent the day pottering. I put away some jumpers and got out some summer stuff, I definitely don’t need anything new anytime soon. I found another black T-shirt which will do for work which I was about to buy so that’s saved a few pounds.
I’ll do another drawer tomorrow and anything suitable for the CS will go in my charity bag.I knocked my jewellery box on the floor so while I was sorting it separated stuff suitable to charity and threw some broken bits away. Unfortunately nothing precious that could have been sold for scrap.
So today I’m been grateful for peace and quiet, for finding clothes I’d forgotten I had and for good simple food.

NSD7 yesterday.
Was grateful for soaking my feet in a bowl of soapy water and then some tlc, feel like I have a new pair of feet. For the 2 dogs next door being quiet until 4pm, they normally have a 'bark all day' Sunday. For tackling the washing up and clearing the kitchen a bit, and best of all my cat is fine after his fight.

Ooops, already losing track of NSD's definitely 7 now!.
Loved the idea of a Clutter Fairy, great post yesterday @mothernerd, particularly about unpacking the shopping.10 -
NSD 3 claimed... I'm up early. I've been cancelling the hotel and rebooking. As the next date we could grab was a weekend it will be more expensive so everything I'm saving by not going this week is wiped out, especially as we don't get refunds on the cave tickets. Unless they're very nice to us... I've emailed them. I can but try!Keep reading books!

Monday 9th May 2022
9th to 15th May is National Vegetarian Week so a good addition to your meal plan - I'm aiming to try one new recipe a week and make 3 I already know. I'm jotting down easy options using thing I already have in stock - baked beans, baked potatoes, bean salad (usually make but whilst I was at mum's I added some tins - 3 bean and 5 bean, some in water, some vinaigrette) and will make time to go through the other veg I have and add more (potato salad with yoghurt and mint dressing, Mexican rice salad -can use frozen mixed veg. Good for us, good for the planet, treading lightly upon the Earth.
Motivational Monday
Today I want you to think about all you are instead of all you are not.
You are only one workout away from a good mood
Think of your workouts as important meetings you've scheduled with yourself
Health is not about the weight you lose...it's about the life you gain
Exercise not only changes your body. It changes your mind, your attitude and your mood

Morning, Everyone
Money - Still on NSD No 6. I bought a book to download on my tablet so I don't have to physically carry one away with me. Not strictly needed as we already have so many but it saves weight and space
Home - Cleaned the fridge. Amazingly there was nothing lurking in there and very little needing used before we go. Just some lemons which I've chopped up and frozen to go in drinks and a little milk which Himself will finish when he comes down from having his shower. Asked next door to take the bins out on Thursday. Himself usually does it for our half of the block. We seem to have "lost" a jar of marmalade! Can't find it anywhere. One of the disadvantages of getting on a bit. Forgetting what you meant to do. I often go into the kitchen and forget what I went for by the time I get there. I would worry but all my friends confess to being the same. Roast beef was delicious and the Boy has taken the rest home with him for lunch today.
Me - Well I'm feeling relaxed and looking forward to my break even if it is only five days and not very far away.
So, I've had my coffee and toast (no marmalade!) and now I'm going for a shower and get dressed. To do: Pack (everything is laid out ready to go in the case), water the plants, switch off the heating (with a bit of luck I might not have to switch it back on again) and remember to put the phone charger in the case.
Have a good day
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
