It is great that you already have the money saved for the NY trip

    I love Yorkshire.

Great news on the DB figures.

Just dropping in to say last week full time , can't wait to finish Wednesday. Have done a lot of days in work last week and will be in 3 days this one. Trying to finish up jobs that are being handed over to someone else. Recruitment for the other half of my job is on Tuesday , fingers crossed they can appoint someone there were 35 applicants .

Have been with grandchildren a lot over the past few days , DGS1 and his football team won their final , it was cold watching that. DGD has been in Yorkshire at a dance competition today so I have had the two DGS .

Next Saturday I am going to the North East for a few days then the week after I start my part time hours .

My first month fuel bill came yesterday and I am £80 in credit but I was away the first week of it . My food bill is still within budget but keeping a close eye on finances .

Going to get ready for the week ahead and move some money around pots.

Last full time week in work, I have waited a long time for this to happen. I am just hoping I have made the right decision financially , but only time will tell. All the saving over the last 12 months could get used up but we will see.

Monday over and very pleasant it was , hardly anyone in the office due to school hols so nice and quiet. It will be a NSD as well which is always good . Tomorrow in the office again helping out with interviews for the other half of my post. The lady from payroll gave me how much I should be getting paid in June which will be based on 5 days full pay and the rest part time. Then in July I will benefit from the NI threshold so hopefully a few more pound in the pot. I need to fill up with petrol for my journey North I will be checking out all the local petrol prices and find the cheapest .
