Just had chance to check my emails and I have had a PB win , that will go to one of my pots , not sure which.
On grandma duties again this morning , then I have to tackle the ironing mountain . Hoping for another NSD .

Well done! You’re about the 4th one I’ve heard of on the diaries who’ve had a win.

Meeting a friend today for lunch and some shopping. I am looking for a new quilt for my bed . After ironing all my clothes from my holiday yesterday I definitely don't need any of those . Started watching Netflix mini series Anatomy of a Scandal last night , watched 3 episodes so far quite into it.
Checked the banking and all ok.

Had a lovely day out , friend paid for lunch. I spent £40 on a new quilt and £10 on 2 new cushions from the bargain bin . My friend spent over £250 , most on clothes . Went to get in my car she drove so this was on my way home and it wouldn't start, flat battery . Luckily her hubby was in and got a power pack and jump started my car. If it doesn't start in the morning then I will have to go over to the garage opposite my flat . I feel more sickwhen cars don't work because all I see is £ signs 😂

My car won't start again this morning , so sounds like a new battery is needed. Will give a mechanic friend a ring first before going to garage over the road .
Should have been working from office today but will now be at home which isn't an issue.
Going to get breakfast now I have cleared some emails .

So sorry to hear about the car trouble. I hope you manage to get it sorted and it's not too expensive.

Ugh how annoying about the car - fingers crossed it'll be a relatively cheap fix! I agree that car problems always give me that sinking feeling too as there can be so much cost involved even in finding out what's causing a problem, before they even get to actually fixing it!

Good to hear you've got your car going again - yes, the 13 year old battery has done very well.
