Can I ask what your pension income is looking like? What are your savings goals? Just curious. Always interesting to know what people are aiming to live on. You may find this thread useful. It’s been going a couple of years and has been useful to many of us. Best wishes.

Ha SG2 I still love my Jaws - the difference being able to just whip him out of the cupboard, fling him round the floors, fold him up neatly and shove him away again without having to faff with cords etc makes to motivation to actually vacuum is quite astonishing!

Enjoy the childminding. We very nearly went to the posh garden centre last week. Not been there for a good while.

  • Worked from parents this morning, left home at 6.45am , the traffic was ridiculous, passed two crashes , the traffic was still busy much much later .
Had to drop mum off at local hospital , dad couldn't go with her as waiting for district nurse , we hope this will be the last visit after his fall in late October, his leg is now healed. Picked mum up later and then came home,
Energy supplier have now resolved my complaint as far as they can, just need to see if smart meter gives readings or if I have to keep doing manual ones. Anyway £50 compensation given going to my bill.

  • Payday from work today and then 20th pension day . Have been playing about with budget and deciding what comes from different incomes . I have interest as well coming I think on the 20th not sure what to do with that whether to keep it in a pot earning interest or to reinvest it .
Been for a lovely sunny snowy walk in the park with DGS , who is now having his sleep.

  • Gorgeous day outside , just been to the big park with DGS who is now asleep. Sorted my finances out yesterday and got my monthly interest today , that is being tucked away somewhere . It's great that interest rates are better.
Have a stinking cold but don't feel so bad with it.
Hoping to go and look for a wedding outfit tomorrow.
