My mum got a new outfit which she is pleased with. I got a jacket and shoes and decided a dress I already have is just right for the wedding so money saved there .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Outfits sound lovely 👍January spends - £587.582 -
Your mum did well. It took me months to find an outfit for my DS’s wedding a couple of years ago, and if I’m honest it’s not what I wanted but there was nothing around. It was at the beginning of when stores were closing and the high street was in decline. Not watched the “ The bank of Dave” but saw the interview on breakfast tv of Dave himself. A lovely bloke who tries to help people. Wish there were more people like him.xx

I think we were lucky with the dress my mum found she is only 5ft but the length was perfect. It is my nieces wedding in late March so glad we are now sorted .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Morning , there looks like no ice on the cars this morning. Feeling a bit better this morning after another decent sleep albeit the coughing fits. Off shopping soon with my dad. I spent around £10 on GF bread , crackers and pasta yesterday in Mr A, so well stocked up now . I have some feta cheese that needs using up this week so that will be on my work salad tomorrow. The interest on my fixed term savings came in on Friday so I have moved it for the moment , but have heard that the cost of communal lighting charge where I live could be very expensive this year so with a rent increase as well I don't know how much more I will be paying in April. Plus a council tax rise as well so all extra money is being put away. I am hopefully going to be able to absorb it all in my budget but a small extra cushion is useful. I need to go through my wardrobe to the back part, I found dresses in there that are lovely but I have changed shape rather than size over the years so they need to go I think. My first knitting project I think will be dolls clothes for DGD .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Still coughing and feeling a bit rough but just carrying on.DGS2 has his birthday today , so we are having a little tea party later . I am nearly at the end of my twice a week childminding , soon be back to one day.Yesterday went to the big shopping centre to collect some school uniform for DGD as she has grown. I have to say the quality was awful from JL , they are going back. Have reordered from Next hope these are better.Anyway yesterday browsing around M@S I picked up a bra and hung it on the buggy as I wanted to look in the children's clothes so go in the lift to ground floor , can't see what I want and walk out of the store . Heading back to the car some 15 mins later and realise I still have the bra on my buggy. I ran back to the store went to the till and paid for it. I am so surprised I wasn't stopped but felt so guilty . Anyway it's going back on Saturday as it doesn't fit right .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Oh SG2 that did make me laugh! Mind you, almost as much at the idea of you walking all the way back to the car with a bra dangling from the buggy as at your inadvertent shoplifting exploits!!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
