If our offer is in the post does that mean they have done a valuation?0

Completion date 8th November. I requested it to be completed 1st March but they've totally ignored that part! At least it's sorted though I suppose.0

No I'm remortgaging, I wanted to hang on a while before completion as I'm not 100% sure I'm doing the right thing in fixing for so long. Also got ERC to pay so was hoping to lower that too. How is yours coming along?A__L said:

Ahh that makes sense. We are first time buyers and the bank downvalued the property but by quite a lot. We have managed to renegotiate a new price with our sellers so we are just waiting to see what the bank says. Hopefully it should be fine as we won't be asking to borrow more. We are hoping they keep the initial rate as we applied in September for the mortgage but things are changing so quickly. It's a scary time to be buyingRainbow1234 said:

Oh no sound like a worrying time for you, really hope you get it sorted! Did the new valuation affect the LTV rate? Mine was exactly 60 so I was concerned about that too but I was lucky and got a desktop valuation. However I was unlucky that on the day of my appointment that I'd waited a few weeks for they put the rate up by 1.2% so I ended up using a broker instead, still ended up with the same mortgage I'd originally looked at though!A__L said:

Luckily the new valuation hasn't seemed to affect out LTV they just reduced how much they would lend us based on the house valuation. Still waiting to hear from the broker to see how it all wentRainbow1234 said:
