Our application was sent to Barclays via our mortgage broker on 12 September.
Our mortgage broker updated us yesterday 14 October, to say that Barclays are in the process of arranging a valuation……

Our application was sent to Barclays via our mortgage broker on 12 September.
Our mortgage broker updated us yesterday 14 October, to say that Barclays are in the process of arranging a valuation……

We've applied for our first mortgage and our timeline has also been slow. We submitted the application via a broker on the 8 September and the valuation happened on the 13 October. We should hopefully hear back next week

Received our offer 2 weeks ago, track it updated to show offer letter.. now today it's gone back in progress offer not started. Really hoping it's just a glitch with track it 😭😭

My Barclays residential mortgage timeline…

12 September - application submitted via mortgage broker 
21 October - date of property valuation 

I realise these things take time but the term wading through treacle seems quite apt here 😏

Seems like mine is going quicker than average, broker submitted application 6th October, desktop valuation same day, offer received by broker on 18th October.

Submitted application on the 11th of October no updates nothing has changed from 5.04 the day we put the application in. It say we need to talk to you about your application speak to your broker for more details but it has a green tick and says complete. Not sure if that means they have everything they need
