I presume you're checked the car Kaz?
All went well. I now have a work mobile. And a call to make - next week - to deal with a potential work placement. And a Google drive to sort. And the filing cabinet that should have been locked is now locked. GDPR trained, me.
There are 50 million keys, some of which are 'issued' so there may be some key chasing going on...and an improved system for logging who has keys will be developed. And where the key deposits are kept. I'm on the system now and I will be paid weekly!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi all
Very jealous Pigpen. I like the traditional one, but both are lovely. Our NDN has one and uses it as a shed, why would you do that, especially when she has a shed already?
Thanks for hospital info Fayolle, fingers crossed I can go in.
Sounds good Valli and I hope you track the phone done Kaz.
Funny day, cycled this morning then got into a massive CBA mood when I came back. Have done a little baking and a little weeding but really have spent most of the afternoon just doing nothing. I made a list of things that I wanted to do this weekend, none of which are desperately urgent but now I am getting annoyed with myself that I havent done much. Stupid I know.
Going to bring the washing in and hang some more out next. Made a SC mince hotpot for tea, I will have some nut roast that was lurking in the freezer so need to do some veg. I will finish my brew and think about leaving the sofa.

Kaz.. I hope it turns up. you can get them unblocked if it does turn up. OH was one of the 2 people working at 02/tesc0 yesterday after 4 barring lost and stolen handsets.. that was the only service being offered. Everything crossed for its safe return.
Base for summerhouse dug out, concrete posts in place... it needs infilling and the weed membrane down and the base on top and the summerhouse ordering.
gammon done.. it was flung in the SC this morning.. and I have pasta and salad to do with it.. and chips for Squeak.. She will no doubt want egg and beans with hers.
Double doses of hayfever medication, several goes on the inhaler and some eye drops and I am still sneezing.. I think I need some stronger stuff for this.. as well as different pain meds and 2 hospital referrals... but the GP is too flipping precious to see an actual person... Our surgery hasn't seen a single patient for over 2 years now.. it is utterly ridiculous.

Excellent that it turned up Kaz... such a relief I'm sure. Weird how you can have it barred in 5 minutes but unbarring takes forever!

Hope you're feeling better this evening, round x
Glad you've found your phone, Kaz - now you can relax!
Hope you enjoy your new job, Valli.
The summerhouses look great, pigpen. It's a toss up between the one that gives privacy to the person in it, or the other that enables those outside to see what she's up to - each has its advantages!
DS1 came this afternoon (with DGD1+2 to help), moved out my old TD and FF, and then cleaned the filthy floor and walls behind, ready for the delivery of the new ones on Monday. He also put up 2 birdboxes in the garden - they have been cluttering up the back porch for about 3 years - and found a better wall plug for the loo roll holder in the bathroom, which was coming loose.
I still have an awful lot to do this evening but I am already shattered and we are off to church shortly. It will have to be an early start tomorrow morning, unless I can grab some sleep during the vicar's sermon
In case I don't get back on the thread before tomorrow evening, let me wish you all a very happy Easter and as much chocolate as you want (it's OK not to want any, but I for one don't have the willpower).7 -

I'll do that. Have lunch. ✅ Then go visit Pops. ✅
I've filled up with petrol and picked up my prescription.
Now cabinned in for the evening.

Belated happy birthday Honeybear, are we twins? Actually I'm not due a bus pass until next year.
Managed ParkRun this morning, those Devon hills last week must have had some effect as it's my first ParkRun for ages.
Took my 2 arrangements to church.
Went to lunch with friends, sat outside in sun.
Felt very lazy for the rest of the afternoon (what's new?) but did a bit of weeding and plant watering.
Round and others who are struggling, I can't get to each one of you with flowers so please share my creation for this year's Easter lilies
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9
