Have been working on year end reports and data point sheets...
been out with with my besties to celebrate my new job. My treat. We found an Indian in the National Park which does my favourite dish. We'll be going again...gutted as my friend has met, professionally, some of the Traffic Cops. *envy* but not my favourite.

Morning all,
Feel like I haven't stopped to draw breath since the children broke up (probably because I haven't!)
The weather is very foggy and chilly here today which is a shame. I am showered and the house looks reasonable. Not sure what today brings xx10 -
Morning all xx
Dragging myself in with a BD firmly wrapped round my shoulders. Boy is he heavy! Feeling sorry for myself is getting me nowhere. I've not managed to eat myself into oblivion - although, believe me, I've tried. Feel carp, eat carp, feel carper.
So. Here I am. Drawing a(nother) line in the sand, and baby steps forward.
Round 1
Brew 2 and breakfast
Shower and wash hair
Get dressed
Bring down laundry hamper
Teeny tiny baby steps. Parrots are also required.
Love to all. Hope you are feeling better Jazee xx

Hugs Round, morning everyone.
I'm still suffering with the Covid and so is DH now despite sleeping separately and everything. Testing positive still but have a little more energy each day.Today I am reading for as long as brain fog will allow.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
*Healing vibes* for you Jazee.Glad you had an excellent birthday down here, Narco. Many happy returns.Sorry you're being chased by a BD, Round. I hope it bu**ers off very soon.I hope your new job gives you a lot of satisfaction and no headaches Valli, and in as much as it's possible to do so, that you enjoy your first day.My bus pass arrived this morning! I onlly applied for it on Tuesday and as I qualified for it this week I'm seriously impressed with how quickly the council turned it around. On my birthday we went to a local NT property, took a walk with the dog that was a lot longer than we realised but was absolutely beautiful, and then had a wonderfulpub meal at a 16th century pub I had last visited to see a folk singer I adored in the early 1990s and is still very special. It was just a lovely day.Flying - absolutely zilch, but another of my courgette seeds has germinated so I'm satisfied I'm on the right track at last. The house can wait with it being this sunny.Better is good enough.9

Hayfever is so bad today.. I am really hoping it doesn't get as bad as it did a few years ago.
We are dropping the beasties at DIL's in a minute and then making a start on the gardenny stuff.. I will have some tidy out there.. and we need the area mapping out for the summerhouse.. the one we haven't yet decided upon.. I really need to order it..Which one??? We are split 50/50.. that said we may end up getting a smaller one once we have measured out the available space..
Squeak has been bossed to be dressed so she can come play with plants.. I have a hanging basket needs filling and some weeding to be done.
If I don't stop sneezing soon I swear my nose will fall off!!!

2 hours digging at the allotment. So boring, but it’s my own fault, so I’ve just got to get on and do it. Think of the exercise… I should have stayed longer, but the motivation was flagging, so now I am berating myself for giving up. Ah well.Restorative cuppa (oh, and did someone say coffee cake 😳) had. Wm running. Need to figure out what has to be done for the rest of the day. It ought to be vacuuming, but the weather is too nice for that.
Off to gather some sticks for Round’s BD.Jazee, I hope you and DH are feeling better soon.9 -
Pigpen, both look lovely, serious envy here. I suggest measure out the footfall base first and see what you think.Well and truly hacked off, I've lost my phone, just been out with OH to something about an hour away, on a secure type site, got out car, looked around, had phone, got back into car, came home, no phone, so it went when I got into the car or there abouts..........not happy, it is all cancelled, new sim on its way, just got to buy another 'new' phone.....there are a couple of folk searching the secure site we went to, so it may yet still turn up.A little daily stuff doneWalking to doBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
