GooglePay / GoogleWallet is a payment method. For it to work on your phone, your phone must have NFC (near field communication) capability. Instead of your card, you present your phone to the card reader, and you can actually leave your card at home when you go shopping, to restaurants, pubs, theatre, cinema etc.

If you don't want to use this payment method, it doesn't matter if your phone doesn't have NFC.

Smart phones aren't THAT smart...

My post is clear - you won't be able to use GooglePay with that phone. If you wanted that functionality, it doesn't matter whether it works with Chase or not.

Any idea if the google pixel 3 works for chase bank? I'm seeing quite cheap deals, I don't want to use iphones as I can't remotely control them

I use the Chase app on a Pixel 2 without any issues so the Pixel 3 should be fine

Works fine on my Pixel 3a and also my new Pixel 6a
