my goodness!!! thanks alot for this.. i have been looking for a good breadmaker that makes bigger loaves for a while now.. i have had my current breadmaker for nearly 10 years, its a very basic one that makes very small loaves, i now have 5 kids so the small loaf does not get very far!!! lol
I have spent alot with amazon over the last few days, as a result of all the lovely MSEer's posts! lol not so money saving, as i would not have spent anything if i had not have spotted the bargains on here lol but nevertheless, all great savings on original prices!!!!!
thanks very much... really pleased with my bargains!!!! :jApril 2014: A CAR!!!!!! :j 60th Anniversary Edition of Playboy mag signed by Hugh Hefner/Family pass to Twinlakes Family Theme Park/Rio 2 Goodies/£15 Promod Voucher/Nivea Sensitive Prize pack/John Frieda Cosmetic bag and bits/Tickets to New Kids On The Block + Meet and Greet0 -
Hi Clutterfree
We tend to make a large loaf. It will also do an Xlarge loaf. I don't think it's as big as the really big loaves you get in the supermarket. However the loaf is taller rather than longer if you know what I mean.
It takes 2 hours on a fast bake program to make a white loaf and 3 for a brown loaf. So if we need more bread I can put it on in the morning and have a fresh loaf for lunch.
The bread freezes well as does the focacia & pizza dough.
We have no regrets about buying one & if it broke tomorrow I would buy another.
The only thing about the Panasonic SD254 is that I don't think it has a seed dispenser which the SD253 has & also I think the SD255 however you can't use the seed dispenser on the fast bake program so I just add seeds etc into the bowl & works fine.0 -

Just ordered one. Couldn't resist the price. All though we don't eat that much bread I just thought it would be fun and also convenient for the kids as they have pack lunch at school and it would be great for them to have fresh sandwich to take to school.
Thanks for the post!.0 -

I have just ordered mine from Amazon, tried to claim the difference back between the price advertised on Amazon (£49.99) and that on HotUKDeals (£39.99) however Amazon are not willing to give me the difference. Anyone else facing this problem? No one said it was gonna be easy!0
