Good news about your dad @bubbs.  I'm sure the consultant will be pleased with his progress.

Hope your knee's OK @Coxy11 and your sister's don't cause her too much pain.  I think you're right to get a knee support so that your knee doesn't get any worse.  Glad it stayed mainly dry for you today and you didn't get too wet.  That's not good that there's nowhere to get something to eat at your BnB tonight.  Hopefully tomorrow night's will be better.

    Evening everyone
I can confirm the gin isn’t just flavouring 😂It’s Tanqueray 0.0%. That’s a little bit more synful than the Gordon’s but I don’t have any at the moment. The Tango is the new Berry Peachy flavour and it’s yummy!
Apologies for being AWOL yesterday. I was a bit kinder to myself syn wise, my meals weren’t bad but I wasn’t strict on myself. I need to try and stick at this for at least a couple of weeks- it’s kick started my weight loss again but I will end up going back up to 15. I’m not far off my 3 stone shiny now- and once I get that I’ll ease up a little.
    Today’s meals:
B: HEXB Lizi’s granola, blueberries, FF natural Greek yoghurt
L: SW meal pot and veg
D- Skinny burgers (1 syn) SW chips, veg, 1 tbsp Heinz ketchup (1) Chocolate (4.5)
    S: Popchips (3.5)
    Syns: 10

    Night all xx

@Mrs_Ryan - I just checked the alcohol free gins and both Tanquary and Gordons are 0.5 syns per 50ml so no difference at all.  I bought some of the Gordons alcohol free today to try and it's almost identical to the alcoholic one so good for days when I've had a few too many syns!  Bought it because DH is on strong painkillers at the moment and he's been wanting a drink for a few days but he hasn't had any because we didn't have any alcohol free spirits or beer!  He now has both so that should keep him happy.

Hadent thought about the alcohol free when on the stronger pain killers or muscle relaxants.

Evening all, welcome newbies and BIG thank you to Beanie for the shiny new thread 🥰

Not talking about food, just rubbish 🥺

Had another tat 😲, was very expensive as we lost part of the exhaust going there! Was still in the road when we came back 🥴.
Tat is a bit bigger than expected, was supposed to be a subtle heart but!!!

Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks for the welcome all. This is a busy thread already - so may mainly lurk... I've eaten pretty well today. Porridge. Veg soup. Garlic chicken with mashed potato, carrots and sweetcorn. 1/3 pot of thai green curry - didn't like it. 5 Tangerines. Homemade banana bread definitely synful! Small amount of choc. Banana.

The scales have been kind this week even if I've not officially joined SW yet. I'm trying to get a referral code / voucher. They do seem to do them in my area but whether they will be quick enough is a different question. I will follow up with a call tomorrow. I filled in a self referral form today but have a feeling I may need to speak to a 'health coach' first which is frustrating... Will let you know how I get on.

Best of luck to all those fighting illness / infection / dental recovery or have ill relatives. A lot of illness going around at the moment.... Feel for Ruby - I hate anything to do with the dentist!

Done some batch cooking today with lots of YS goodies as well as other items. Veg soup. Veggie pasta with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, kidney beans - cayenne pepper, salt, vinegar, garlic. Cajun chicken with onions, garlic, mushrooms, green beans, tinned tomatoes and sweetcorn.

  • STS for me this week, will take that, at least it was not a gain. Going home tomorrow, so no idea what will be eaten, as long as mum eats something, I will have whatever she is having, it will probably be me eating 3/4 of whatever she has anyway, she is eating so little. Need to be in Gatwick for 8:00, so still undecided whether to drive or just jump on the train, it is only 15 mins + 25mins on the bus to the station, which will include a bit of a walk from the stop to the station. Thinking I am leaning towards train as I will be back for rush hour on Monday.

    Welcome to the newbies!

    Have a good one everyone
