SC onions soup @maman as requested:

    https://cooktopcove.com/2017/09/07/slow-cooker-french-onion-soup-recipe/?src=article_link&eid=60311_a&pid=57667&et=fbad&k=lgrhaen017

I use a 3.5l oval SC and it fitted in fine - wasn't really sure what size a 6 qt SC was!

I used butter Frylight to spray the pot and sweetener instead of sugar. Β I did need to stir it after about 4 hours as the onions were beginning to stick to the pot but that's probably because of using Frylight rather than butter!

Didn't have any sherry so used sherry vinegar and a bit extra sweetener - didn't want to make it too sweet though with onions being quite sweet anyway.

Evening all, welcome newbies and BIG thank you to Beanie for the shiny new thread πŸ₯°

Not talking about food, just rubbish πŸ₯Ί

Had another tat 😲, was very expensive as we lost part of the exhaust going there! Was still in the road when we came back πŸ₯΄.
Tat is a bit bigger than expected, was supposed to be a subtle heart but!!!

What does the jigsaw piece mean if it has a meaning?

    Thanks again for the welcome.

@Bubbs no I'm not in Northampton but that sounds a great deal. I have filled a form in last night which will hopefully help. I tried to call but just seemed to go into a blackhole. I can't see me hearing back for Monday - but if there is the potential to save that much money I may hang on a little longer before signing up.

I'd hang on @savingholmes. It's a good saving if you can get a NHS referral. You said that the scales were looking good already and we'll help you all we can with any questions or syn values you need while you're waiting. 😊

Thanks for the French onion soup recipe @joedenise, especially as it's in the SC. Using the sherry vinegar would make it syn free. πŸ‘ How many portions do you think it makes? I don't have sherry but I have port which is similar. πŸ€”

The recipe says it's 6 portions but I'm not sure yet as won't be portioning it up until tomorrow once it's cold. Β I've ladled it out into jugs to put in the fridge and there is 1.7l so I think that's a good 6 portions but really depends on how much you have each time. Β  Will let you know tomorrow once I've bagged it up!

Maybe it's a priority in England because Boris is so much fatter than Nicola! 🀣

My consultant was telling us last month that there were lots of places left in one of our postcodes desperate for people to take them up. πŸ€”
