Morning all, another bright dry day and very little wind. Will get another load of washing done and onto the line to dry.
We all have times when we go off plan @MrsRyan. You're doing the right thing by drawing the line and getting back on plan today. Sounds like a very speedy day yesterday but good underwear is worth it's weight in gold. It always makes you look and feel better about yourself.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F; 2
L - minted pea puree topped with seared scallops (to use up the bag in the freezer); Welsh rarebit - HEB; HEA2; P; S; F
D - chickpea and butternut squash curry, rice, HM samosas - P; S; F; 2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; samosas 2
Have a good day everyone and enjoy the sunshine (hopefully it's all over and not just in the South!)

Today is a recovery day after a bout of severe fatigue yesterday 🥺.
The sun is shining so that’s a plus. WI was a shocking LOSS of 2lb 😲 absolutely no idea how though.
Bubbs my hubby has a weekly meds tray which has 3 separate pots in each for morning, afternoon & evening for all his meds 🥴.
Beanie, the puzzle piece is my missing piece as in my son who’s name is above. It’s from the baby loss charity ‘ my missing peace’. He’s always in my heart but now he’s on my leg too 🥰
Have a good weekend all 💞
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well done on your loss @TakeItEazy. Hope you're enjoying your break. I wasn't surprised you had a purple tattoo but hadn't realised why you chose the jigsaw design. 🤗
Totally agree that money is well spent on a good bra. It'll make a big difference to how your clothes look @MrsRyan. You've bought some great outfits so that will set them off nicely.
Supper was as expected last night. I did have a slice of quiche but didn't eat the crust. A low syn Saturday for me. 😊
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F)
L - JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D - chicken roast (P, S, F)
Syns - gravy 4, Yorkshires 1, LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 😋3 -
Brilliant loss @TakeItEazy. I hadn't worked out what the missing jigsaw piece meant; I lost a daughter a long time ago and she'll be forever in my heart.
Change of plan at lunchtime as we decided to go and see DD2 who has recently moved - wanted to have a nose at her new house! Her house in next door to a dentist and evening and weekends she's allowed to use their garden which is handy as it gets the sun later in the day than her own garden - and she does love the sun so ideal for her! We still had the scallops on minted pea puree but I just had a couple of crisp breads with some Primula Light.

Hi everyone from Kingshouse Hotel just by Glencoe. We completed the Great Glen Way (79 miles) in 6 days. Now on the West Highland Way. I’ve a niggly knee injury which meant we had to get a taxi part of the way today 😳 Sister a bit tearful this morning so we are being kind to ourselves.
Food is whatever we can find - scotch pie tonight - lord knows what the syns are but don’t really care!Tomorrow we have 13 miles south to Bridge of Orchy where we have a little Airbnb pod. Last night we stayed in a converted police van. Please send positive vibes for good weather 😊Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings1 -
Morning all! Love the converted police van @Coxy11, good luck with the rest of the walk. You can do this! Glad to hear your dad is doing better @bubbs.
Had a really good day out on Saturday - may or may not have had some actual gin as my antibiotics finished on Saturday morning and teeth feeling a lot better. But enjoyed the Seedlip non-alcoholic ones that I tasted. We also went out for dinner at a lovely pub I've walked past loads but never actually been in - had a huge fishcake with a poached egg and braised leeks, lettuce (thought of you @joedenise!) and peas and then a delicious pistachio souffle for desert. Also wore a new dress that I got lots of compliments on and felt really good about myself. Plus somehow have lost 1.5lbs this week.
Back to usual ff yogurt and blueberries for breakfast, lunch is the last of my pork and veg stir fry mix and then dinner tonight is stuffed peppers with some spanish style rice as per DH's request.

Afternoon all, lovely day today and for a change no washing done!
Glad you enjoyed your gin tasting @ruby_eskimo and had a lovely meal afterwards.
Today's plan:
B - bacon & tomato sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
L - jacket potato, cheese, salad - HEA2; S; F (was going to be tuna with mayo which we picked up when we were away but didn't use but when I tasted it I really didn't like it! Checked the ingredients list and it turned out there wasn't any tuna in it! It was vegan tuna mayo! Wouldn't have picked it up if I'd realised!)
D - beef stew, mash, green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 3.5
Hope everyone has the same weather as me and is enjoying the sun.

Sounds like a great weekend @ruby_eskimo. Well done on your 1.5lbs loss and the NSV with the new dress.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Glad to hear your tooth is feeling better and you can enjoy more solid food.
I do hope the rest of the walk goes well @Coxy11 and that injuries soon settle. Really quirky stay in the police van. 😁
I've got another good week coming up with no distractions. I usually shop on a Friday but might bring it forward because of Easter.
DH has been experimenting with more water in our porridge for the past few weeks and we honestly can't tell the difference from all milk. I have been buying the BoB milk but it's getting really expensive so will probably revert to green.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S), 1 potato (F)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
Syns- 02
