I always take my potatoes out of the plastic and put into either a paper sack or.a black lined veg bag. I also dry them off properly before I put them in but they still only seem to keep for a week or so. I just wish they'd stop putting them in plastic bags and dry them off properly before they sell them.
When I've grown them myself they definitely kept ages because I made sure they were dried before putting them away.

Thanks for all the veg prices @bubbs. I'll definitely get some of them. I made up swede and carrot mash from the Christmas veg wars. I think I'll try my own ready to roast parsnips this time and definitely potatoes. I might wait until towards the end for those as I've got plenty at the moment. 🤔2
