Maybe it's a priority in England because Boris is so much fatter than Nicola! 🤣

My consultant was telling us last month that there were lots of places left in one of our postcodes desperate for people to take them up. 🤔

In that case then it's definitely better for @savingholmes to wait and see what happens with her application. 🤔
  • How does the second referral work? I meet the requirements but just paid for the next 12 weeks as I wasn't aware of the rule

Morning all, today's weather is looking good so another machine load in the machine.  Will hang it out after breakfast which DH is cooking at the moment.

Sorry @annabanana82 I can't help with your query but I would have thought that if you'd had a referral your consultant should have said something and not left it to you to find out about it.  Maybe worth a word with your consultant?

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - burger and onions in wholemeal roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - lamb steak traybake - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - wholemeal roll
Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; couple of rum & ginger beer 5

Decided I'll have some real alcohol tonight!

    Have a good day everyone.

PS. I've portioned up the onion soup and have got 8 portions from it.  I use 2 soup ladles per portion which weighs about 240g so we're going to have some for lunch before our burgers and 6 portions have gone into the freezer.

Thanks @joedenise. Yours is free but even if you'd used sherry it would be less than 1 syn per portion. I think 2 ladles would be OK as a starter but I'd want more for lunch 🤣

Perhaps @bubbs will be able to answer your question about the second referral @annabanana82 I'm sure she'll post later.

Not sure about syns for me today but I usually have up to 30 on a
weekend so I know I won't be having that.

I've had my SW breakfast (fry up), bubble and squeak for lunch, half a Crunchie at the football with coffee and then tbc this evening. Usually we have cold meats and salads, occasionally quiche and then just syns in dressings.

    Sunny here too. 😬

I think because we usually have some kind of cooked breakfast 2 ladles of soup for lunch is usually enough especially as there is generally only about 4 hours between breakfast and lunch!  DH often has a sandwich as well as soup but I don't.  If I'm not full then I'll have some fruit and yoghurt but that doesn't happen very often.

If you make it and portion it into 6 then obviously the portions will be larger than mine where I got 8 portions!

I slept in this morning and didn’t make class!  When I took mum shopping I used her scales and think it might be a 1lb gain. On holiday next week and have a few lunches and an evening out planned so a case of being on plan when I can, and when not, be sensible😉

Anna my friend said you ring the same number you rang last time, BMI still has to be over 28

    Today i had

    Pear and banana at group

egg wraps with beans, bacon and mushrooms in, cherry toms and 2 plums.

Tonight i am having picky tea with a difference as couldn't get the pizza we normally have and others upset dh's tummy, so i am making one from soft pitta, got some satay chicken skwers 1/2 a syn each, onion rings and duck mini rolls 😋 so will be about 20 syns instead of 70!! 🤣
