Thanks everyone!  I'm absolutely over the moon; didn't think I'd manage 1.5lb 2 weeks running.  Just need to keep going as really want to get as low as possible by the end of the month to give me a bit of leeway for holiday.

@Gettingtherequickly - I'm generally in the slow losers club too - don't know what's going on at the moment but I'll take it and hope it continues!

The only thing I'm doing different is mainly drinking alcohol free gin rather than the real thing and keep syns around  10-12 a day.  It seems to be working so I'm going to stick with it for the time being.

    Evening all,
Bought some roasted veg couscous 4.5 syns and some mango in Waitrose. Was hoping for a banana but they were too green. DH cooked the $m spaghetti - was okay and would have again. Had to bolt mine down though as had a call with friends booked for 7 and only got home at 6.30, just as it was going in the oven 🙄

    Great loss @joedenise
Those pork steaks look lush @bubbs

Good choice in Waitrose @Coxy11. 😊

Well done on keeping up with the syns @bubbs. Thanks for asking about my back. It's much better but still a bit stiff but I'm keeping going. I've been dancing tonight and walking tomorrow. Hopefully exercise will help. 🤔

    Morning everyone,

Bright here with minimal prospect of rain so washing will be done and hopefully line-dried (it's the small things.....)

The couscous was okay @maman - syns due to oil I think. Not sure I'd buy it again but it was okay in an emergency. I really enjoyed the mango spears - shame they aren't speed!

Will be voting today (London borough) and need to visit the post office and buy shampoo - my life is as scintillating as ever lol!

    Food today:
B - poached egg, grilled bacon, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms - P, S
    L - WM pitta, turkey kofte, salad, melon - HEB, P, S
D - Sweet and sticky chicken (new recipe), broccoli, cauliflower, carrots - 2, S
    HEA - milk
    HEA - babybel light
    Syns - 2

    Have a good day everyone

Morning, had a sports massage last night which was just fabulous.  Not cheap but worth every penny as my back and shoulders feel so much better this morning and she gave me some daily exercises to do.

Preparations for DS1 arriving home are well underway.  No idea why I feel the need to clean the house from top to bottom as I know within two hours of getting in it will be mayhem with his stuff everywhere

When I pop out at lunchtime to vote I'll also need to pick up milk, bread, yoghurt and fruit!

    Today's plan:

B - Ryvita (HEXB), Cathedral light cheese spread (HEXA), apple (it's looking lonely in the fruit bowl)
L - Spanish omelette using up leftover potatoes, onions, peppers and mushrooms
D - fish and chips, peas, sweetcorn, carrots (4 syns for breadcrumbs and 2 for tartare sauce)

    Have a good day all!

Morning all, a bit grey this morning but dry but think I'm going to do some washing and hopefully get it dry on the line.  First load out on the line, second load in the machine.

Had to smile @Coxy11 at the "need to go to post office and buy shampoo" - then wondered if your post office is like my local one - that is the post office is situated in the local chemist!

Have prepped a bag of goat chunks (loads of fat to cut off!) and it's now cooking slowly on the hob into a goat curry for dinner tomorrow night.  Had a quick taste and think it may be a bit hot!  I think I might make riata but will need to buy some cucumber tomorrow to do that.  Will probably syn a mini pitta as well.  With not drinking real gin it's keeping my syns a bit too low. (I didn't have real gin last night just the 0% one!)

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - stuffed peppers using LO cottage pie mix, topped with cheese - HEA2; P; S
    D - sausage pasta; cabbage - S; F; 2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF sausages

    Have a good day everyone.
