Had to smile @Coxy11 at the "need to go to post office and buy shampoo" - then wondered if your post office is like my local one - that is the post office is situated in the local chemist!
Lol no @joedenise, just my bad grammar! PO now in WHS but Savers is closeby!

5 for a HEB apparently. Anyone tried them? or indeed found them as apparently they are like hens teeth.

@Coxy11  - Not seen those but having said that I haven't actually looked recently as tend to buy the Lidl own brand rye crisp breads as prefer them to the Ryvita ones.

There doesn't seem to be many actual POs any more, they all seem to be moving into a small space in other shops.  The only actual post office near me is in the next town which is 15 miles away but at least if I need a main PO it's close to where I go to group!

    EDIT
Yes green is 6 for hexb, blue the lightly salted 5 and the sweet and salty 5 :D

Thanks @bubbs. Think they're available from Am@zon and Eb@y but in packs of 6 of same flavour. Otherwise only on Oc@do locally. Wouldn't want to buy 6 packs and hate them iykwim.

Any ideas to make turkey meatballs more palatable please? I make them from 2% turkey mince, cumin, garlic granules, oregano, salt and pepper and grilled them. Put them in a pitta with leaves and some balsamic but had to get the ltl mayo out as just so dry! I guess they'd be okay with a tomato sauce over pasta, but wanted to do something different for lunch. Ideas on a postcard please.....

We'll be off to vote shortly. Our council is one that could easily change hands. We even had the PM, in his high vis, baggage handling at our local airport yesterday! 🤣

I think Amazon has the Ryvita cakes that you want @bubbs.  certainly green packaging.
Ryvita Multigrain Rye Cakes | High Fibre | Low Fat | Healthy | 6 PACKS of 120g : Amazon.co.uk: Grocery

I make turkey meatballs @Coxy11. I'll post the recipe separately but they are bland but I like them. I've made them into little rissoles that I've snacked on or into burger shapes. They have couscous added to make them go a bit further. I've adapted the recipe for Frylight and dried herbs. You could buy a jar of salsa to go with them. There are several brands that are only 0.5 syns for a couple of tbsps.

Have you seen the feature on 'hit a plateau' on the SW app @bubbs? They are adamant that it doesn't exist! (needs rolls eyes emoji). One thing they do say is that people who aren't losing may not be having enough free food. As you have so many SP type meals, it's something to think about. 🤔

I think it's a good idea to clean before your DS dumps all his stuff @Jellybaby.  Much easier than having to clean around it! I noticed you had baked beans for breakfast. Unfortunately they are now just free food when they used to be Protein. I thought that when I added some to my veggie chilli although I rinsed off the sauce . Apparently white kidney beans are free but cannellini are protein. Very difficult to keep up!

The corned beef I'm using today is 4 syns per portion so I'm counting that although I chilled it and shaved off visible fat so it's probably less. We've had a long walk this morning so got the Body Magic in and now a shorter walk to the polling station. We don't have any stand alone Post Offices here either. the main one is in WHSmith, the local one is in a mini market and the next nearest is a computer repair shop. Stamps cost an arm and a leg in them all so any savings on premises costs certainly aren't passed to the customer! 😉🤣

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP  (F), cottage cheese, ham (P), spring onion, beetroot (S)
D- corned beef hash with cheese topping (P,F,S, HEA2), cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
Syns- corned beef 4, horseradish 1

Here's the turkey meatball/rissole/burger recipe for anyone interested.

    Ingredients

    30g couscous

    Bunch of spring onions

    ½ tbsp olive oil

    300g turkey mince

    25g dill

    25g flat-leaf parsley

    10g coriander

    1 egg

    Method

Place the couscous in a bowl and cover with 50ml boiling water. Stretch clingfilm over the bowl. Leave to hydrate. Thinly slice the spring onions. Soften gently in half a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan, then tip into a mixing bowl. Add forked, hydrated couscous, turkey and chopped herbs. Whisk the egg with a fork and add that too. Use the fork to mix thoroughly, patting into a ball. Roughly quarter the mix in the bowl. With wet hands, pinch off small handfuls and form into little patties-!!!!!!-balls, transferring to a shallow oven tin smeared with one tablespoon of olive oil as you go. Chill.

Heat the oven to 200C/gas 6. Roast the rissole for 10 min.
