Morning all,
Thanks for the recipe @maman - from the pack of turkey mince I made 18 meatballs. Had 6 yesterday which was a bit too much for me, so have frozen the other 12 in batches of 4. Will use them up with salsa and over spaghetti with sauce, next time that's on the menu.
@Jellybaby when is your DS coming home? Just think of all that body magic whilst sorting the house - win win!!
Lovely food as always @bubbs mmmmmm
Didn't get to the PO yesterday as something came up just as I was about to go to lunch. Nothing urgent to post, just old photo driving ID that is due to expire shortly - another £14 each to renew. Need them to be in date as we plan to hire a car in Cyprus when we go in July. Voted after work and took DS for the first time #exciting. Then I popped to Ts and got some Nev!lle bread to try, such a bargain at 36p.
Off to donate blood after work - given it's WI tomorrow morning I expect to lose at least 0.5lb!
Food today:
B – Mushrooms and cheese on toast, melon – S, HEA, HEB
L – Tuna and fish sticks, salad leaves, tomatoes – P, S
D - A!di chicken saag, rice - 1 (will share with DH)HEA – milk
Syns – hi fi bar (before blood donors) – 3
Have a good day everyone,

Morning all, it's absolutely pouring it down here (again). I've got two loads of washing needing done so wish it would hurry up and go.
@Coxy11 DS home on Monday! He lives in NZ so between work and covid it's been four long years.
Today's plan:
B - ryvita (HEXB), light cheese spread (HEXA), apple (enjoyed it yesterday)
L - chicken salad (out for lunch today at a new place)
D - depends how big lunch is may just have some lentil soup
Have a good day!0 -
Morning all. Had a day in the office yesterday and picked up a new salad in Pret that was quite yummy and I'll try and recreate next week at home - salmon fillet, spinach, mango, edamame and pickled red onions, with a lime wedge to squeeze over the top. Very refreshing and filling 😋
Breakfast today was a ff yogurt and blueberries with my first iced coffee of the year as it's so sunny here. Lunch is more butternut squash soup with a slice of bread and DH has requested a Korean feast for dinner tonight so we're having Tteokbokki (kind of like rice gnoochi, in a spicy sauce with cut up fishcakes and soft boiled eggs), kimchi, pork dumplings and maybe some doengjang jiggae (soybean paste stew) if I can be bothered 😂 Don't ask me about syns, it's a lot!
