    Morning everyone,

Forgot to say to @annabanana82 - you will soon get that little gain off - hope you have a good week x

Bit of a grey start here this morning. I managed to resist all things yummy at the craft fayre. There was a whole marquee dedicated to just food and drink. DH and I queued up at an artisan bakery stall. We purchased a brownie for DS2, a enormous cheese and spinach scone and a Belgian bun. DH ate both of those and later had a hog roast roll with lashing of apple sauce. I had my hi fi bar and a cup of tea  o:)

Dinner was roast chicken, SW roasties, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and I really enjoyed it.

Back to work today. Food will be:

B - strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, WM toast, 1 tsp jam - HEB, 0.5
    L - JP, lo veg chilli - 1, S
    D - $m spaghetti (from Slimming Eats book), salad - S
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel light
    Syns - 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone, fabulous! @beanielou what a great start.   Being honest, I'd probably have caved in at the bakery stall @Coxy11, not cakes and pastries but bread, it's my weakness.    That wee half pound will be gone next week @annabanana82

It's raining here today  :( my friend was in York over the weekend and had glorious weather and is all suntanned.  I may need to look out my fake stuff!

    Today's food:

B - toast (HEXB) and beans
L - leftover pasta and roasted veg
D - gammon steaks, roasties, cauliflower cheese, carrots, peas

Using Schwartz cheese mix up and counting 3.5 syns and HEXA for my share

Have a lovely day all

Morning all, very grey here as well @Coxy11 although no rain forecast but possibly will tomorrow.  Glad I got all my washing done when we got home on Sunday!  Hopefully I can get it all done again later in the week along with the bedding which also needs to be done!

Will definitely give ice cream a go with proper greek yoghurt @bubbs.  Any recommendation in particular?

Had to change my planned breakfast as have no onions left which are definitely needed for flavour.  So today's plan has changed to:

B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, LO mash turned into potato cakes - P; S; F
    L - ham and tomato sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
D - cottage pie with swede and carrot mash topping, green veg - P; S

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Thanks for the heads up on the tins @bubbs. Only on Sunday, I used some of the beans for my chilli along with a huge tin of black eyed beans I bought in Farmfoods. I think 30p is about the same price as Aldi for tomatoes and red beans but it's cheaper for chick peas.

I weighed up the veggie chilli and it came to 11 portions! I've frozen it as 4 meals for 2 of us and 3 for me to have for lunches with JP.

I think I might have been pinching some bits of meat from the pork roll @Coxy11. Well done for resisting the bread and pastries. 😇

Overcast here too but dry at the moment.🤞🏼 Back to my dance class this evening after an Easter break so good to get some Body Magic in.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
L- ham (P), beetroot and LO veg (S)
D- cold chicken (P), SW chips, peas (F), green stuff (broccoli, asparagus) , tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- 0

Afternoon all!  Congratulations on a great first week @beanielou and fingers crossed the increased syns help @bubbs!

Had a lazy bank holiday weekend but did go out on Friday to celebrate two of our friends getting engaged 🥂  Been to the dentist this morning for a check up and have been booked in for a root canal at the end of the month 😨😬

Started the day with some ff yogurt and blueberries, lunch was HM butternut squash soup and a slice of bread (which will be on repeat all week most likely) and dinner tonight is sweet and sour chicken with rice and broccoli, which should give me enough for dinner on Thursday too.

Right back to work, hope you all have a good day!
