Looks like it could be hormonal then @bubbs.  Not much you can do about that other than go with the flow!

But really think you need to up the syns as you definitely don't have enough most weeks.

Well done on having that HEB on your ice cream; certainly added a bit of texture to it.

My old consultant always said it didn't matter whether or not you were still having star week as bodies often carried on producing the hormones in some women.

If it is hormonal then it means you should have a loss this week after a gain on Saturday!

    It's a mystery @bubbs - so frustrating for you I know x

We love Faversham @joedenise - DMum and DSis live in S'bourne.

Today we are out at a craft fayre in Penshurst Place. We are going to a garden centre first to pick up some furniture paint as I want to upcycle a piece of furniture and they stock French!c. I'm going to take a hi fi bar with me so I'm not tempted by cake at the fayre.

    Today's food:
B - cheese omelette, baked beans, pineapple, strawbs, blueberries - P, HEA, F
L - probably just the hifi bar - HEB
D - roast chicken, SW roasties, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower - P, S (didn't have this yesterday as wasn't fully defrosted)
    HEA - milk

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all, a bit grey this morning but feels quite warm.  Had to pop out to post our grandson's birthday card - just hoping it arrives in time as only put 2nd class stamp on it!  Meant to post it Friday on our way to our weekend away and forgot to pick it up!

Going to make some curry powder this morning as have run out of my own mix which I much prefer to the ready made one which I've been using recently.  It has lots of flavour without too much heat.

Bought a pattern at the weekend to make some trousers but the material I was thinking about using isn't quite enough so looks like I'm going to have to go fabric hunting sometime.  Most of my fabrics are lightweight cottons which are only suitable for dresses and tops.  So I might get on with doing a bit more crochet which I started over the weekend - nothing exciting just some washcloths!  Couldn't believe how expensive cotton yarn was in Hobbycraft - only bought the pattern, a 100g ball of white cotton and 3 25g balls of pastel shades cotton and it came to over £16!  Went into £land which was just a couple of shops away and they had some for £1.50 a ball so picked up a couple of those as well.  Think I might be making quite a few cloths - some will be face cloths and some will be made in a different pattern which will be more like dishcloths.

    Today's plan:

    B - egg sandwich - HEB; P; 3.5
    L - butternut squash and chickpea tagine, herby couscous - P; S; F
    D - lamb casserole, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5

Have some satsumas which need using up so will eat those at some point during the day as well.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, a cold dull, damp day here.

Feeling rather happy as I've just been gifted some veg!  Will save me time and money later in the week.

Trying to shake up menus so today's plan:

B - bacon omelette with tomatoes, mushrooms and beans
L - mug of potato and leek soup, tuna salad with pickles (1.5 syns for salad cream)
D - penne pasta with Arrabiata sauce, parmesan (HEXA)

    Have a good day everyone!

You both sound really creative @joedenise and @Coxy11.  I haven't done anything like that for ages so thanks for reminding me. 😊

What a perfect gift @Jellybaby, far better than chocolates.🤣

We rarely do much on Bank Holidays but perhaps we'll go for a walk locally. It's dull here but dry. I've taken to using 2nd class stamps on mail lately too @joedenise. The postal service is so hit and miss that a first class stamp doesn't seem to guarantee delivery on the day any more so it's not worth the money.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, fried eggs (P), tomatoes, mushrooms (S), 0.5 HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), fried veg and beetroot (S), potato (F)
D- gammon (P), cubed potatoes (F), carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms (S) cauliflower and broccoli cheese (S, 1.5 HEA)
    Syns- cornflour 1
