  • Hi all all well done to all those with losses this week!

Been a really busy week at work, did a 13 hour day on Wednesday including 6 hours of driving which completely wiped me out.

The company I visited provided lunch, was expecting a cold buffet but post covid it's all sealed packed lunches. I opted for ham & tomato hoping it was a sandwich but it was a great big seeded baguette, crisps and wedge of rocky Road 🙈🙈 I ate half the baguette and it was blinking delicious no idea on syns but was very good the rest of the day!

Went for a 3 mile walk today and planning around a 7/8 mile walk on Sunday. Giving blood on Monday WI day - even googled how much 1 pint of blood weighs 🤣 as I'd like to lose 2lbs this week.

Afternoon all, delighted with three off this morning!   I tried to have more SP meals and made sure I used hexa and b - which was a pain at times as I don’t take a lot of milk or cheese as it can trigger stomach issues but so far I’ve been OK.    Will try and continue with at least one SP meal a day but I’m not promising 😂

Aw @bubbs I feel your frustration. I’ve no idea what to suggest as you do the plan so well and you’re probably more SP as you don’t take a lot of carbs.   Has your consultant offered any suggestions?

I’m having a hungry day today. Just had two bowls of lentil soup and we’re having chicken skewers with a ton of veg and salad for dinner. I’ll have a soft pitta with it and my new favourite, Siracha hot sauce which I think is 0.5 syns per tbsp.

    Well done Jelly

No consultant is as baffled as me but said try using your syns, but this is a fail today already as not had any, tes is hexb, hexa pitta pizza, bns chips and salad, baked apple and mincemeat for pudding.

I said i don't want to eat extra food, so she said swap fat free yoghurt to low fat or full fat and syn it, so might try that but like i said to her won't be this week as i already have it in

Hmm I was going to say I’d find buying and syning yoghurt strange as I’m so used to buying Aldi’s 0% Greek yoghurt but i actually bought some of their Skyr pots with a fruit layer today.  They scan at 2.5-3 syns depending on flavour and I’m going to use them as treats after dinner.
