Late check in for me, work is a bit manic again.   Meatballs with spaghetti was fabulous last night and - luckily for me - DS decided on sandwiches for work so I've just had leftovers for lunch  I may still have the lentil soup I was originally planning as I missed breakfast as work was so busy, will see how I feel later.

Dinner is salmon, SW chips, roasted tomatoes, carrots, broccoli and sweetcorn.  Not had fish for ages so really looking forward to it.

Hope you're all having a good day.

Afternoon all, back from group with a WI loss of 1.5lb - my consultant even said when she went round the room how I'd tripled my normal weight loss!  Really pleased but didn't feel I'd done much different other than cutting back syns during the week - still had 10-12 over the weekend while we were away but no more than 5 or 6 during the week.  If I can manage the same again this week I'll get back to top end of target range!

It won't be easy to do this week as we are away again from tomorrow until Sunday but will see what I can do!  To be honest I'd just be happy with my usual 0.5lb with it not being so easy to stick to plan when we're away.  Breakfasts and evening meals will be OK but we tend to eat out lunchtime when we go to the place we're going this weekend!  Last weekend was exceptional in that there was no public transport and nowhere safe to walk other than the gardens.  Will just have to try my best again.

Enjoy your Jersey's @bubbs.  Absolutely delicious potatoes, shame they are only available for a very short time and also very expensive!

    Today's plan:

B - Hifi bar at group after WI (didn't fancy anything before I left).  Meant to take a banana with me but forgot so had buy a box of hifi bars - 0.5 HEB
    L - LO cottage pie, green beans, Brussels - P; S
    D - Sweet and sour chicken, rice; tinned pineapple & yoghurt  - P; S; F; 3
S - crisp bread; primula light

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula light
    HEB - hifi/2 crisp bread
Syns - 100g canned pineapple (will stir a bit into the sweet and sour once cooked and then have rest with yoghurt for pud)

    Have a good day everyone.

We're off to a place called Quex Park.  It's a huge field and there are lots of little craft shops, a cafe/restaurant, a house with gardens and museum.  Not sure if we're going to do the gardens this time though as they're not really interesting as very little in the way of flowers and shrubs - it's mainly grass with some woodland!

I've got strawberries as well @bubbs and they are lovely.  May melt some choc later to dip them into!

Love lamb shanks!  Must get some more for the freezer soon as now haven't got any left.

Brilliant loss @joedenise! 👏👏👏 I'm thinking that some of that may be catch up for when you've stuck to plan without seeing the results. Great anyway, whatever the reason. 😁

    🤞for your job @Coxy11.

Forgot to say well done for getting back to running @ruby_eskimo

Good idea to mix veg with cheese to stuff the chicken @bubbs. I like the idea of the Lidl frittata too, good for a picnic. Glad you enjoyed your meatballs @Jellybaby. There are some great meal ideas on here.

Someone posted on another thread that the Aldi Slimwell chicken Tikka is (genuinely) improved. Hope that doesn't mean more syns although I'm happy with the syn free recipe from @joedenise but ready meals do have a place.

We've been out most of the day. Went to the theatre for a matinee. DH suggested eating out afterwards but I persuaded him it would be too early so we had lunch in a cafe instead. 😊

    Today's EE plan -
B- scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L - JP, baked beans (F), HEA cheese, salad (S)
    D-SW Bolognese (P, S), spaghetti (F), HEA Parmesan
Syns - may be a bit over on HEA but didn't have much milk today. Also a bit low on Speed for me but 1 day won't hurt. 🤔
