Moring all, another lovely bright but windy day today.  Will need to go to the market and Tesco as I've run out of FF natural greek style yoghurt and that's the only one I like.

Hope the interview went well @Coxy11; as an ex civil servant I know where you're coming from!  Having said that when I went back to work after having the girls the Civil Service was the only ones that would give me a chance because I hadn't worked for 14 years.  One job I went for the interviewer said if I'd had recent experience I would have got the job!  Don't think they'd get away with saying that now though!

Well done on the losses @annabanana82 to both you and your daughter.  I'm sure you'll get that 2.5 stone next week!

Well done on getting back to group @beanielou and straight onto the social team!  As @bubbs said it will mean that you'll need to go so you don't let the consultant down.  Have a good week and hopefully a good loss next week.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - stuffed peppers; salad - HEA2; S; F
D - cottage pie with swede and carrot mash topping; green veg - P; S

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have some dark chocolate this evening

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone,

Bright and sunny here today so I will get out for a walk this afternoon with pup.

Food was a bit carb-heavy yesterday as didn’t have the veg chilli/jkt combo as forgot to defrost the chilli. Had Ben’s veg pouch rice instead, then spaghetti for dinner. Ooops.

Went to A!di and got two whole pineapples for 79p each with my week’s shopping. Tried out my new gadget and it worked fine, so that’s £6.99 well spent!

    Food today will be:

    B – All Bran Golden Crunch, milk, pear, pineapple – B, ½ A

L – Tinned mackerel in tomato sauce, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles – S

D – SW pork and apple burger, sweet potato chips, salad – 1

    ½ HEA – milk

    HEA – babybel

Agree with MrsRyan about getting stuck. I work with colleagues who have been CS all their lives, including a colleague with 43 years’ service. The thought of that just blows my mind.

Annoying about the passwords joedenise – just what you don’t need when you’re trying to have a break.

Thanks beanielou. Great that you've joined the new group and straight on to the ST - bet they can't believe their luck.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Good luck with the interview @Coxy11 - I'm public sector and while I've worked in the same industry for 14 years, I've moved around organisations which are all different.  Some of my colleagues have been in the same org for over 20 years and have no idea how things work outside of their little bubble which isn't too helpful in the jobs that they're doing 🙄 I'm sure you'll find something soon.  Well done on the losses @annabanana82 and your daughter and I'm sure you'll find a lovely dress @Mrs_Ryan oh and hope your new group is helpful and supportive @beanielou.

Managed to do a workout and then went for a run after work last night.  Had intended to just go for a walk but somehow ended up running instead.  Slowest I've been for a while and only managed 2.5k but it's better than nothing.  Having issues trying to find some new swimwear for our holiday in September - having to buy now as it's all already selling out everywhere and I know I won't be able to find anything if I leave it till August!  Helping my boss interview today for 2 vacancies we have in the department, haven't had to do an interview for about 3 years so not really looking forward to it.  Had strawberries and ff yogurt for breakfast this morning, another pre-prepped greek style salad for lunch and then dinner is going to be mushroom risotto.

Right off to make a coffee and grab a lot of water to help get through the first few interviews.  Hope you all have a good day!

    Morning all,

@Coxy11 good luck with the interview.  @beanielou yay! you'll smash it this week and well done to @annabanana82 on your loss this week.   @Mrs_Ryan and @ruby_eskimo good luck on your shopping expeditions!

I'm now craving spaghetti and meatballs after catching up on yesterday's chat so just taken mince out the freezer for tonight!  Have also found a JD Seasonings meatball mix in the cupboard that needs using up so great timing and very MSE.

    Today's plan:
    B - f/f Greek yoghurt, berries, 1 tbsp Skinny syrup (0.5)
L - toast (HEB) and beans
D - spaghetti and meatballs, possibly some parmesan using second HEA

    Have a good day everyone!

Well done for avoiding syns when you were in the office @MrsRyan. It's always more difficult to stick to plan away from home. Good luck with finding a dress and you, a swimsuit @ruby_eskimo. I need to look around for some holiday clothes too. I want some light, loose things to wear in the evenings when it's hot.

That looks close to a SP day @joedenise. I've always thought that replacing any carbs should help weightloss rather than doing 100% SP which is basically none but your HEB. I'm pleased that my consultant doesn't go on about 'fill your boots' with free food like the old one did. IMO that's nonsense as the more free food you eat the lower the proportion of Speed becomes. I've always felt that Speed and planning are the most important elements of SW.

I often fancy things that I've read about on here @Jellybaby. That's why we had cauliflower cheese at the weekend. Enjoy your meatballs. 😋

Hope you're having a good first day @beanilou and that you've not got too much in that's not SW friendly. 🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- ham, fried egg (P), baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L- veggie stir fry (S) with noodles (F)
D- veggie chilli (P,S) with brown rice (F) and cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- sweet chilli sauce 1

I think all the consultants have been told not to push the fill your boots mantra as even my old consultant (the one that left) had started to say eat Speed foods over Free foods and only eat until you are full up.

I think it's the nearest I'm going to get to an SP day @maman!  If I'd thought about it I could have saved some of the mince and used that to stuff the pepper rather than herby couscous and then it would have been an SP day!

Sorry forgot to say good luck with the shopping expeditions @MrsRyan and @ruby_eskimo.  I always struggle finding anything I like when I go shopping for clothes so I tend to buy things when I see them rather than going out shopping!

I have ordered what feels like 100 swimming costumes and bikinis and only found 1 that vaguely looks ok and feels comfortable (M&S scallop edged swimsuit if anyone's interested).  It's just the sizings are all over the place.  Ordering according to my bra size means either a top part that's too bog and a bottom bit that's too small or ordering according to clothing size means too small at the top and too big at the bottom 🤷‍♀️😆  Normally I wouldn't worry too much but we're staying in a hotel that has a literal water park as it's swimming pool so need more than the one ratty swimming cossie I own already that is way too big now after being stretched out all these years!

It can be a nightmare @ruby_eskimo. I don't buy one piece swimming costumes as I have a long body and find them uncomfortable. I have several bikinis and the advantage of those is that you can often buy the tops and bottoms separately as I'd rather have a bigger bottom (not literally! 🤣) as I think too tight can make you look fatter. I do have one that cost a bit in Top Shop (so not new😉). Although I've not looked at this year's offerings, I've found in the past that Asda and Matalan do a good range. I prefer a wired top that comes in bra sizes and two shoulder straps as I find a halter neck uncomfortable too. Good luck with finding what you want.😊

I was going suggest buying separate tops and bottoms @ruby_eskimo so that you can get the sizings right although if you're going to a water park a one piece might be a better option!  Ask me how I know!!  We went to a water park in Italy several years ago and I was wearing a bikini and we came down one of the slides in a "boat" - I was behind DH in the boat and when we hit the water I went flying over the top of him and came up with my bikini top round my neck!  I always make sure I wear a one piece in a water park now!

Like @maman I prefer two shoulder straps rather than a halter neck although it seems to be harder to find these nowadays although I managed to get a couple last year.  Most seem to be halter necks for some reason.
