Weighed in this morning, home scales were showing a loss of 4.5lbs since last proper weigh in and the SW scales agreed. Total loss now 2 stone 5.5lbs.

Middle son loss 5lbs, his total loss is now 3 stone 3 lbs.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Afternoon all.  Your poor dad @bubbs - have seen a few patients in my time who deny they're in pain and then have a bladder the size of a watermelon 😳  Hopefully he'll be home in time for Christmas, hope your mum gets a bit of rest while he's out of the house and hope you're feeling better soon.

Also hope your DH hasn't done anything too serious @maman and the splint does it's job.

Well done on the losses to yourself and your son @SingleSue.

Jeans are feeling a little tighter this morning so may have to lay off the mince pies for a little bit (I just can't help myself!)  Had cheese on toast this morning for breakfast, veggie soup for lunch and then dinner tonight is LO veggie chilli on a jacket potato.

Hope everyone's having a good day otherwise!

Afternoon all, hugs to everyone who is feeling poorly.  Glad your dad is feeling a bit more comfortable @bubbs.  I can imagine how much pain he must have been in with that amount of wee in his bladder!  - I had a similar problem after I had a C Section where I couldn't go and eventually had to have a catheter to get rid of it.

Brilliant loss @SingleSue and son, you are both doing brilliantly well.

I went to WI this morning and am now 1.5lb over top end of target; can't really see me managing to lose that by next week but I'll give it my best shop, Christmas and Boxing Day excluded when we have DD1/DD2 and families respectively for meals, so it's definitely Good when I can!

    Today's plan:

    B - plain omelette - P
    S - nibbles at group - 3 syns
    L - scotch egg; chips; pickles - P; S; F; 2.5
    D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - nothing planned
    Syns - amaretti biscuits 3; frozen chips 2.5; butter 3.5; may have a G&T this evening 3

    Have a good day everyone.

I'm 1.5lb over top end of target range so 4.5lb above my actual target.  It's good that you're drinking plenty @bubbs as I'm sure things would be worse if you became dehydrated too.  Hope you get your sense of taste and smell back soon.  We had scotch eggs today which I made yesterday because I'd got the onion and rosemary sausages out and they'd defrosted so needed to be used.

    Hi everyone,

Have had a strange couple of days. Went into the office on Monday and there was no heating so I sat there with my scarf on all day. Left office and walked to train and felt a bit odd, nauseous and stomach ache. Well I thought I was going to faint on the train - giddy, clammy, awful pins and needles in my hands for about 10 minutes. I was looking about the carriage thinking who to tell - thought it might be a stroke (not even kidding). DH texted 'can you pick up cream on your way home?' err no, I think I'm about to die.... so he sent DD to fetch me from the station. I spent the next 36 hours in bed, only getting up this morning. No food, only water.

Tried some fruit wheats with blueberries and mullerlight this morning. Only ate part of it. Have just had 2 mini babybel lights. Am hoping to have LM sausages with mash, carrots and peas tonight, but won't force it down. Just have no appetite at all right now. It's not covid - I've tested.

All this pales into insignificance of course when I read about @bubbs poor Dad. I'm so sorry he's in hospital again and hope they can get him well enough to be out for Christmas. Hope you're doing okay too with the dreaded 'rona.

Hope your DH is okay with the splint @maman - rotten time of year to hurt yourself. Hoping it's not his drinking hand that's damaged!

    Have a good evening all

Denise, i get confused as some people say target with the 3lb, some don't , you will get it off, don't stress enjoy Christmas.

Coxy, how weird wonder what that was ? There is so much going about, hope you are ok now? Don't go doing too much. Keep testing could show up a couple of day later? Do you have a cold or anything? Mine started with what i thought was just a cold, till it then felt like someone smashing my head in with an axe 😂

Well i have decided i a really fancy some cheese and crackers, so going to have a couple, scotch egg and few picky speedy bits and see how i get on. It's this vile taste 😫

Sorry to hear about your dad @bubbs but the positive is that your mum gets some much needed rest. 👍

It's so frustrating for you being ill with everything going on. How do you feel in yourself apart from the taste and smell? 🤔

There are some very strange bugs going around @Coxy11. Sounds really scary to feel so rough. Hope you feel better very soon.

Well done on your loss @SingleSue. 👏👏👏 So close to your next half stone. Keep up the good work.

I think we have to be philosophical about expectations at this time of the year @joedenise. There are so many syns around, like the mince pies @ruby_eskimo! 🤣 I'm just going to enjoy my food and a few treats and then hit the plan hard from 2nd January. Most main meals will be on plan but I know I'll have extra bread and other stuff in between.

Thanks for the good wishes for DH. He's more himself today but wrist is still  very swollen and painful. It's not his drinking arm though @Coxy11. 😁

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- fried veg and beetroot (S), fried eggs (P), 2 potatoes (F)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), carrots, spicy cauliflower, greens (S)
Syns - probably some red wine as I enjoyed it last night. 😁❤️🍷

I shan't be stressing about it.  Fortunately I'm not bothered by mince pies and sausage rolls;  my biggest problem is pigs in blankets, LOL!  Even though I've made my own I couldn't get any low fat chipolatas so will need to check I don't eat too many - I'll have a couple with my dinner but other than that I'll try to ration them to a couple a day.

Glad you're DH is feeling more himself today @maman.
