I know it's the same everytime Beanie! Although the ward he was on before they knew.
They gave him ice cream, he said i can't eat that , they said yes he could 🙄 then they wanted to give hi yoghurt, he said i definitely can't eat that. Well it's them that will be dealing with the exploding stoma bags, not mum
He now has a big sign dairy free as Mum made them do it 😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Glad to hear your mum got plenty of sleep last night @bubbs. The wards obviously don't talk to each other! As you say they're the ones who will have to deal with the exploding stomas! Good on your mum making them put up the Dairy Free sign. Reminds me of when my youngest was in hospital as a baby where I made them put up a sign to say she wasn't to have a dummy after going in one day to find sucking on one - she'd never needed one at home and didn't want her starting to need one at nearly a year old!
Good that you've managed to eat and to work out what the vile taste in your mouth was - water is definitely better for you than Pepsi max anyway so that's a positive!
Glad you enjoyed your stuffed pasta @Matron_Midge. Nothing worse than spending time making something new and then not liking it!

Seems incredible @bubbs. Restaurants can cater for special diets but not available in a hospital!
I laughed at the idea of your DD having a NO DUMMY sign above her bed @joedenise. A sentiment she'd be proud of! 🤣 I hate them too. ☹️0 -
Denise, i know water is better for you than pepsi but don't stop you all drinking wine or rum 😜🤣
No why would you start giving a baby a dummy at nearly 1?
One of my sister's sucked her thumb till she was about 21 😱 obviously not all the time when she was older but at night 😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Morning all,
Another Pep$i max fan here although better mixed with a rum!
So bad that the wards didn't communicate regarding DDad's dietary requirements @bubbs. I hope he had a good night and that your DMum is also managing to rest. He will be home soon - keep the faith xx
It's raining cats and dogs here. I need to go out today for veggies, salad, and last few bits for tomorrow's family buffet. Would prefer to walk as I'm only 5 minutes from the high street, but also need some of those jumbo gift bags for my 3 kids' gifts and don't want them ruined. Perhaps I'll walk then get DH to pick me up hmmmm.
Food today will be:
B - 2 weetabix, milk, blueberries - HEB, HEA, S
L - lo spag bol - free, S
D - breaded fish, sw chips, peas - 10(!) will pick off the breadcrumbs so 5?
HEA - milk
Syns - advent choc - 2.5
Have a good day all

Hi all, time is running away from me and don't think I posted yesterday. Happy to read your dad is feeling a bit better @bubbs and glad your mum got some rest. Going on my parents, your mum will only be happy when she knows your dad is OK.
Great loss @SingleSue and son. I have WI tomorrow morning and will need a Christmas miracle!
Hugs to all the poorlies x
I'm a pepsi max fan too, not keen on red wine but have been known to partake a glass or two if it's what others are drinking, just to be socialable of course. But quite honestly will drink most things!
Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, cereal (HEXB)
L - l/over pasta bake (counting 4 syns for chorizo), parmesan (HEXA2)
D - Aldi onion & rosemary sausages, chips, beans
Have a good day everyone.0 -
When I said I'll drink most things, I didn't mean Pepsi Max! 🤣
Miracles can happen @Jellybaby. 🤞🏼
It's cleared up here now @Coxy11 and sun is shining. Hope you get your bits of shopping done without getting wet. My list is growing a bit to add to the bread I need tomorrow. I'm not far from shops either so it won't take me long. How are you managing with the shopping @bubbs? 🤔
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, 2 fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- cold meat (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S), noodles (F)
Syns- honey 2.5
Syns are already going a bit haywire here. Last night I had 2 water biscuits with stilton and 1 cherry liqueur. I know I wasn't hungry, just fancied them.0
