Morning all,
The snow/ice has finally gone (yippee) as we've had constant rain for the last 24 hours. I'm in the London office today so will be utilising my new brolly - it's the small things...
Good to see you @Matron_Midge and you sound very well prepared and most importantly, in the right mind set to get those lbs off. Looking forward to sharing your progress.
Get better soon @bubbs x I was told that sparkling water was good in YPs but have never tried as don't buy it.
Food today will be:
B - mango - free
L - HM BNS soup, 2 x WM bread (didn't have this yesterday), grapes - S, HEB
D - Chicken curry and rice - 2.5 syns for tikka paste pot (DH is cooking...)
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar, advent choc plus curry sauce syns = 8 total
Have a good day everyone,

Morning all, a wet and windy morning so hopefully a bit warmer than it has been. Supposed to get up to about 10 or 12 today but we'll see - it definitely isn't that yet but at least it's in positive figures now! Have been in touch with my plumber to see about another boiler and he's just got back to me and he's going to see if he can sort a new one quickly! Do hope so as it's a pain keep having to go into the coldest room in the property to press the reset button to get it going again!
That's a bummer @bubbs - why do these things always happen when there's things like holidays coming up, for some reason they always seem to. I suspect @Coxy11 was saying S for the butternut squash and not the grapes as she doesn't seem to add F for Free like @maman and I do!
I suspect that @Coxy11 means Yorkshire puddings by the YP - I'd heard that sparkling water is better too. Never thought of that as I actually bought some last week as planning on making mojito for myself at Christmas as a low syn cocktail (only 3 syns for the rum!). Oh, and by the way, yes my yorkie did rise yesterday, maybe it would have risen even more if I'd used the sparkling water! Will have to try that next time I make yorkies.
Today's plan:
B - yoghurt and fruit - S; F
L - sausages, fried up tinned potatoes, mushrooms - S; F; 1.5 (didn't eat all my sausages yesterday so reheating today)
D - not sure but probably scrambled eggs on toast as suspect DH won't want anything as he has a 3 course lunch at the golf club today - HEB; P
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 1.5
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Welcome back @Matron_Midge you sound very determined so hoping I'll catch your vibesAw @bubbs hope you don't feel too rough and it passes quickly x
Hope you get your boiler sorted soon @joedenise I need to submit gas readings on Thursday (have smart meters but only reads electricity) and dreading how much it will cost this month as heating has never been off!
I've just written a two page list of things to do this week - so much for thinking I'm organised! DS's car is going into the garage tomorrow for a (hopefully) minor repair so will be up with the larks to drop it off then take him to work.
Today's food:
B - toast (HEXB), bacon medallions, mushrooms, tomatoes
L - lentil soup
D - pork medallions, roasties, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and peas
Syns - none planned so far
Have a good day all!0 -

sorry to hear you’ve got covid Bubbs, hope it clears off quick. It’s rife round with us and every second patient has had it, is now clear of it but has a chest infection brewing.
Thanks for all the lovely welcome backs. I am determined but realistic - I’ve never been a big loser but I have Easter in my sights for my target.0 -
Oh poor you @bubbs. Better to have Covid now we have vaccines than at the beginning though. Hope you feel better very soon. 🤗
Easter's a realistic aim @Matron_Midge. You've done well to make a start before Christmas though. Far better idea than putting it off. 👍🏼
Still no idea what I'm having for dinner, not hungry yet and want to get the tree finished before I stop to cook myself anything. Like with you @joedenise, DH is out so it's just me to think about.
I went to Sainsbury's today, sadly sold out of £6 gammon joints but did get red cabbage so will try to make that later in the week. Not tomorrow though as it's DD1's birthday so spending the day with her.
Meant to say as they were small (19p) Maris Piper's, I made hassleback potatoes with last night's dinner instead of normal roasts. Very nice and professional looking.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- ham (P), 2 potatoes (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- tbc
Syns- 0
