Morning all, another very cold and frosty morning - I think it's colder today than it was yesterday and our flipping boiler is on the blink! We have to keep resetting it to relight it. It was only serviced just over a month ago but the plumber did say he didn't know how long it would last so looks like I've got to call him back tomorrow to fit a new boiler. Just glad I've got the money put by as knew we'd need one sooner or later as it's now 22 years old! Hopefully a new boiler will be more energy efficient and we won't end up spending around £10-£15 a day on gas and electric (and that's with solar panels!).
Welcome back @Matron_Midge - this is just like a real group with everyone being very welcome whether new or returning. It's very hard sometimes to stick to plan. Glad your new job means that you'll be able to follow the plan easily when you're working. Microwaves are brilliant for reheating LOs or even for cooking jacket potatoes and beans (I sometimes used to do that when I was working!). Hope joining online works for you. I go to group and have to travel 15 miles each way as it's in the next town so I combine it with a bit of shopping over there!
Well done on the lb loss @Coxy11. Hope you can get another lb this week to give you your 1.5 stone award - that would be brilliant for Christmas, even if you end up putting it back on again!
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash with chicken - P; S; F
L - burger; few chips; beans - F; 4. Will have some fruit after for S
D - toad in the hole, potatoes, veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but if peckish later will have some Ryvita & Primula Light
Syns - LF burger 0.5; few chips 3.5; LF sausages 2; 25g flour 4.5
Few more syns than planned but need to use up half tin of beans so rather than having the burger in a bun having a few frozen chips with it.
Have a good day everyone.

Just watching Jamie Oliver and he says it't the watr that makes the yorkies rise, so that's why i have big ones. I was talking to Mum the other day about toad in the hole 🤣 she said of course we don't have it now, i said why not? Because your dad can't have the milk, i said i make mine with water always have, she said never heard of that before, i said you have now 😂😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1 -

@bubbs So sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly! You definitely must be ill if you haven't eaten! Just hoping my Yorkshire rises as much as yours usually do. I always thought it was the eggs which made it rise.
Hope you feel better soon. - hope the lurgy's gone before Christmas. Nothing worse than being ill at Christmas.

How dare Jamie Oliver steal your tip @bubbs!🤣 Hope you feel better very soon.🤗
Well done on your loss @Coxy11.👏👏👏 If you have a quiet week then you can get that extra pound. Go girl! 😁
Lovely to see you posting again @Matron_Midge. Do your best over the next couple of weeks and then hit the plan hard in January. You'll soon see off that gain. 👍
Personally, I don't find the actual Christmas break too bad for SW. I lost 5.5 lbs over Christmas when I was getting to target. My consultant was amazed. Sadly I didn't get SoW because of a gain from pre-Christmas nibbles. ☹️ Roasts and bubble and squeak and pickles are ideal SW food. Even better now we can have extra cheese. 😋
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, fried egg and bacon (P)
L- Spanish omelette (P, S,F, HEA2 cheese), ham (P), red cabbage (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P. S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - cornflour 1, weekend wine 😁1 -
Thanks everyone 🥰
I did eat a bit of dinner but not my normal load 🤣🤣
Maman i know he is cheeky eh?!!😂😂
