Morning all. Well done on the loss @beanielou and I'm sure you'll be at your next target in no time! Well done on getting the washing done @joedenise and good luck with all of yours @Coxy11
Walk yesterday was quite nice; wore my walking boots so had 2 layers of socks on and my long padded coat so if we don't get any snow today then I'll head out again after work. Haven't had breakfast yet at not feeling too peckish. Lunch is more of the sweet potato soup I made yesterday (it was very nice if I do say so myself 😁) and I have some leftover linda m sausages to have with it. Dinner tonight is mushroom risotto.

It's turned into a beautiful morning here after a murky start. It's a tropical 3 degrees here @Jellybaby with a clear sky and sunshine! 🤣 I'm a bit disappointed that we postponed meeting friends but it's good from a SW point of view.
I have a long padded coat too @ruby_eskimo. I wore one for the daily walks through the lockdown winters and I love that they're so warm and yet lightweight. I did feel a bit like a sleeping bag on legs but have since bought a new, longer one that's a bit smarter. Well done on sticking to your plan to walk last night. 😊
You could make quiche just for yourself @Coxy11 for lunches or syn free snacking. I like to make egg muffins which are very like mini crustless quiches. I've not done those for a while but they're ideal for when the oven's on anyway.
I'm having a JP with prawns for lunch. I don't have any leaves so will finely shred some white cabbage.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, 2 eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad bits (S)
D- LO chicken (P), SW chips (F), roast veg (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1

Afternoon all, I've finally managed to sit down for a few minutes! Today has been hectic. Had to take my car to the garage for a service and MOT first thing then shopping in the next town - going to 3 different shops in different parts of the town and up to see DD1 to drop something off for her.
Portioned up chicken for the freezer - got a big pack of breasts and they are huge so only one in each bag so plenty of chicken meals over the next few weeks!
Made DH some mince pies and an apple pie - wonder how much will end up in the freezer! I'm certainly not making any more. Currently cooking a beef casserole while the oven has been on.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - hash using up some LO mash, peppers, mushrooms, onions and mince; topped with a couple of eggs each - P; S; F
D - LO roast chicken, chips, beans, pickles - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe.

Seems LO roast chicken is on the menu for both of us tonight @joedenise. I've been lucky lately and had big enough ones to stretch.
Lots of chicken breast portions seem to be huge lately. I freeze them singly too. One can be enough for some meals, like a stir fry, with plenty of Speed veg. 😁0 -
Sorry @beanielou meant to say well done on getting to target! I'm sure you'll reach your new target in the new year.
I weighed myself this morning and the weight just doesn't seem to want to go - I've only lose about lb! Thought it would have shifted quicker with it having gone on so quickly! Never mind another week until WI so what will be will be but fingers crossed a bit more will shift before then. I need to lose about 2.5lb to get back into target range.1 -

Morning everyone,
The fish pie was a success - used a pack of mixed fish from Ocado 3for2 (salmon, smoked haddock and cod?) then 3 basa fillets and 1 haddock fillet from the freezer. The combination of flavours and textures was lovely. I sent DH out for skimmed milk and potatoes and being his mothers son, he bought TTD potatoes claiming they were price matched to Aldi. Seems he picked up the wrong bag/read the wrong label. Oh well.
Still bitterly cold here and boss has intimated that she'd like me in the office tomorrow as it's our Christmas party which will be hybrid in-person/on line. I don't reckon my chances with the trains but will show willing, even if I get there late and leave early.
Food today:
B - banana, 2 satsumas
L - HM BNS soup, WM roll - S, HEB
D - SW pork Szechuan with noodles - free
HEA - milk
HEA - mini babybel lights
Syns - hi fi bar
Have a good day all,
Coxy

Morning all, still absolutely freezing here as well. Good luck with the trains @Coxy11, just hope the Christmas party is worth it!
Sounds like you had a great selection of fish in your fish pie; I usually just use salmon, smoked haddock and white fish of some sort (think it's usually pollock in the pack I buy). My DD1 says she uses pink, yellow and white fish and hasn't any idea what any of them are - you'd have thought she'd have learnt by now (she recently turned 50!).
Good luck to anyone weighing today, I'm not bothering until next week and hopefully won't be too far out of target, if I am I'll just have to pay the week after.
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
D - spanish chicken - P; S; F; 3.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - 25g chorizo 3.5
Have a good day everyone and keep warm and safe.

Nothing much to report here, just a standard week with no special outings and keeping to plan. A 1.5lb loss is indicated on my scales at home, so still going in the right direction.
Tonight is a different matter, got the work Christmas meal and I am so not going to hold back, I'm really looking forward to it and I'll just have to hope that the week until I have to weigh officially at SW is enough to cover the damage done tonight. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
