Bubbs. A friend went to Lidl for me this morning & most of the cheap veg was not there. More importantly the heated throws were sold out at 8am. Afternoon all - some great weight losses this week - sadly not for me a gain of a lb, which is lucky as I have not been on plan for last few days. So much seems to get in the way - firstly pre Xmas family to stay and meals out. At one stage thought they would have to extend with weather but lucky not any snow as near coast. The only place I have reigned in is breakfast and stuck with my usual and fruit - then downhill.
Today I am back on plan with homemade soup on the go and no eating out till tomorrow, then Indian meal on Saturday and then ok till Wednesday. As well as the weight the main thing that has been piled on is the heating. So cold and when I am on my own when DH is working away I watch tv in bedroom - but sitting in the lounge etc has seen my usage rocket, still I will not go cold even if it means cutting cloth accordingly.
So today
B 1 wbix rasp and pear with ff yog
L HM leek and pot soup 1 bread I lCow lite
D Grilled haddock sw chip broc and peas. Syn Bisto Parsley sauce.
HEA Milk cheese HEB br x 1 wbix x1
Syns 2 sauce
Not sure if can follow plan as out tomorrow and again Sat evening.
Stay warm and cosy

Afternoon all. Busy couple of days with work but have tomorrow afternoon off in lieu of a Christmas party. However boss asked if I minded coming into the office on Monday as he was inviting a couple of people out for a drink after work and I was one of the chosen 😆 Will be driving so no alcohol for me, but it will be the first social event I've been to with this job, and I've been there 3 years in January!
Had porridge for breakfast today, stir fry for lunch and then a mushroom risotto for dinner this evening. Need to head out for a walk after work to try and burn off some of the carbs - it's just what I gravitate towards when it's cold!

@Vegastare - I'm with you on the keeping warm! I've decided to put money away in a savings account as and when I can which I can use when the bill comes in next year - hopefully there will be enough in there by then. I'm rounding my accounts every time there is an odd amount plus adding the £66/£67 which is being returned by EDF - really wish they'd just add it to the account. I'm over £500 in credit at the moment but no idea how long that will last with the heating on most of the day, apart from when I'm out.
I wouldn't worry about putting on a lb this week - life has to work round SW not the other way round. It's a case of Good when you can and careful when you can't! All you can do is damage limitation between meals out. I've got a meal out this weekend but it definitely be a case of good when I can etc! and damage limitation until WI on Wednesday. I still need to shift 1.5lb by then to get back into target range!

Thanks so much for that @bubbs. Really useful to know both the prices and what they will be selling. I'm definitely going to make braised red cabbage and swede and carrot mash for the freezer. 👍
A pound is nothing @Vegastare. SW used to talk about the scenic route. We'd all like to lose weight instantly but it doesn't work like that. I think what really matters is that when we go off plan, we return ASAP. 😊
I don't worry about carbs @ruby_eskimo. I've never understood the 'fill your boots with free food' mindset. I'm happy to have carbs as long as I keep them in proportion with Speed and Protein across each day.
Decided to have savoury mince rather than make it up into cottage pie, partly to use up some new potatoes and also not to use oven.
I'm starting to see some space in the freezer at last and more so when turkey and pigs in blankets come out. Just in time for veg wars! 😁
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- Spanish omelette (P, S, F), ham (P), pickles (S)
D- savoury mince (P, S), new potatoes, peas (F) carrots, cauli, broccoli (S)
Syns - 0

Morning all,
Didn't manage to get on yesterday as went into the office. Took me 2 hours to get in due to delays and the train I took lost traction halfway to London. Was really worried they were going to throw us off but the rear coaches managed to propel us to Victoria! The desk I'd book had a floppy monitor so had to prop it up with the tin of Danish cookies I'd taken in for the party. Could not make this stuff up. Party was 2.30pm-4.30pm, 20 of us in person with 60+ on line so a few tech issues. Good to share a laugh with a few colleagues though. Food was on plan yesterday although I did have a couple of cookies.
Don't worry about the little gain @Vegastare - more important to spend quality time with your family and enjoy yourself. You'll soon have that off.
Oooh @ruby_eskimo drinks out - enjoy yourself!
I'm WFH today, so a calmer day for me. Food will be:
B - 2 satsumas, 2 WM toast, 2 tsp jam - S, HEB, 1
L - LO Szechuan pork and noodles (as DS2 forgot to have this yesterday) - Free some S
D - SC chilli con carne and rice - free, some S
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar, advent choc, plus 1 = 6.5 total
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy
