Morning all. Welcome back @joedenise, well done on the losses @bubbs and @Vegastare and congrats on the long walk @Coxy11
Had Thursday and Friday off work and ended up driving around the county picking up and dropping off things, plus dentist and hairdresser appointments thrown in for good measure. Went to Glow at RHS Wisley on Friday night which was enjoyable, even in the -4 degree weather. Saturday and Sunday spent running around helping DH get his final bits and pieces for Christmas, and had my final book club meeting of the year (with lots of yummy food).
Star week arrived over the weekend so haven't weighed this morning as bloated as usual but haven't been on plan this weekend so know there's additional water weight on top of that. We had a light dusting of snow overnight (literally nothing) so will go for my 5k walk this evening to get back into being a bit more active. Haven't had breakfast as wasn't feeling hungry but will go and start off lunch soon (a batch of sweet potato soup for the week). Dinner tonight is leftover pulled pork from the freezer with some chips and coleslaw.

Well done @Jellybaby on your loss, every half pound counts!
The washing is finally washed, dried and put away - ended up taking it to the launderette this morning which is over the road from the dentist and had it serviced washed. Cost a fair bit but at least I can keep up to date with the washing from now on, well hopefully! No doubt the place will be looking like a Chinese laundry for a few weeks to come but will need to make sure the airer is put away over Christmas as having DD1 to lunch on the day as otherwise she'd be on her own as her partner has to work and she'll need to pick him up after work around 6pm so will be having our main meal at lunchtime.
DD2, her partner and probably our DGS will be coming for lunch on Boxing Day. Good job they like LOs as that's probably what we'll be having then although there will also be some smoked salmon so could have that with some salad.
Rather you than me @ruby_eskimo with walking in this weather! Have been out and about today with quite a bit of walking and not long been home and my feet are absolutely freezing! Hope they thaw out soon.

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏 Any loss at this time of the year is a miracle!
Respect on walking in this weather @Coxy11 and @ruby_eskimo. 👍
I think you did the right thing clearing the holiday washing @joedenise. It's easier with the day to day stuff, it doesn't take over so much.
I can't see why pate shouldn't freeze @bubbs. Perhaps try a small portion as a test.
I think quiche and salad is an OK summer meal. I have a recipe with a mashed potato base which is quite filling, even for real men! 🤣
I've been out this evening, mince pies and drinks were on offer but I passed on those. We've postponed a day out with friends tomorrow because, although no snow, it's icy and it would have been a longish drive.
That means I should be able to stay more or less on plan for most of the time until Christmas. 🤞
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), fried vegetables and beetroot (S)
D- chicken casserole (P, S, F), greens (S)
Syns - cornflour 10 -

Another great loss @beanielou and well done on SOTW. Won't be long until you reach your new target at this rate. It's cold enough here but really glad it's not as cold as -6!

Morning all,
Well done on the losses @Jellybaby and @beanielou - really great stuff!
I have served quiche with salad, new pots and coleslaw before and DH moans, so I've learnt not to bother! It's a shame because I love quiche.
DH took DS2 back to uni yesterday, cleared his room and fridge contents and bought him back here. He finishes on Friday anyway but DH is taking our car to Birmingham on Thursday and not back until Friday night so would have meant me going in DS2's little pop pop car in Friday night traffic. We have the panto on Saturday lunchtime (oh yes we do!) so need everyone home for that. Luckily DS2 can study remotely from here for the last few days of lectures. Will be joining you in the Chinese laundry stakes @joedenise!
Food today:
B - mango, WM toast, jam - 1
L - cheese omelette, baked beans, grapes - HEA, P
D - fish pie, green beans, broccoli, carrots - am using a Colman's dried sauce mix so 1 syn for my portion
HEA - milk
HEA - cheese
Syns - advent choc, hi fi bar, sauce mix, jam - 7.5 total
Have a good day all.

Morning everyone,
An absolutely freezing -8 when DS went out to work at 6 this morning! The boiler fan had a good few icicles hanging from it so needless to say, I've kept the heating on, it's low, but still on to be on the safe side. I dread to think what our energy bill will be this month though
Fabulous loss @beanielou 👍 and it will be lovely having all your family back @Coxy11, enjoy x
Today's plan:
B - bran flakes (HEXB), f/f Greek yoghurt and last of the raspberries
L - baked potato, cheese (HEXA), salad bits
D - chicken fajitas (I'll have mostly veg and without the wrap although I could syn one if I'm hungry)
Stay warm and safe all.0
