Afternoon!
Great weightloss @SingleSue xx
Thanks for all the messages re: horrid bosses - they walk amongst us, clearly! My upset colleague managed to speak to the guy yesterday and they've cleared the air. Didn't stop me giving him very hard Paddington-style stares all day.
M&S will swap the armchair for the loveseat at no extra cost and will compensate me with a gift card once I've received the new chair and I'm happy. Not sure to what value! TBH I've no faith that what I order will be correct, so will need to wait until February to see!
DH cooked last night and because the broccoli was a little discoloured (like a miniscule patch) he binned it and did extra steak cut oven chips for me. Gee thanks love! I went to see Matilda the film on my own as not DH's bag. It was good but was dropping off halfway through as so warm in the cinema! Woke up when they burst into song lol!
I'm unexpectedly in the office again today and food is:
B - pineapple
L - HM BNS and carrot soup, WM roll, grapes, satsuma - S, HEB
D - spag bol
HEA - milk
Syns - whippy bar as forgot a hi fi bar - 4.5
Have a good day all

This is Wednesday's post that I forgot to send. ☹️
Well done on your loss @SingleSue. You must have a good idea how your home scales compare with SW so it's a good guide. 👏👏👏
Snap@bubbs! We had sausage casserole today too! 😋
I've experienced that sort of behaviour from all sides in the workplace. It definitely needs calling out @Coxy11.
Today's EE plan -
B- Fried eggs and potatoes (P, F)
L- JP (F), beans, mushrooms, spring onions (S)
D- sausage casserole (F, S), penne (F)
Syns - Aldi sausages 10 -
I find that I fail asleep in the theatre rather than the cinema. I did it again last week. I think it's having a drink then being warm and dark that does it. 🤔
Today's not been on plan. Breakfast was fine (porridge and berries) but we went out for a Christmas lunch. 3 courses which probably just about stayed within a day's syns but then there was wine. 🤣
That's better news from M&S @Coxy11 but @beanielou is so right, standards have slipped.0 -
evening all - well another 1lb again WL, moving down though, this time year the naughties are creeping in. Latte and shortbread today when out....wow was it cold.
Apart from the latte and biscuit have been good
B w bix pear and rasp ff yog
L omel mush and toms
D poached salmon mushy peas and broc.
HEB x1 w
HEA Milk

Morning all,
Well done on your 1lb loss @Vegastare - whoop!
So hard to keep to daily syns when there are all the Christmas meet ups @maman. Luckily mine tend to fall on a weekend and as WI is Saturday morning, I feel I have all week to make up for any halo-slippage!
DH and I are going to see Die Hard tonight at the cinema - I don't think I've ever seen it all the way through!
Food today:
B - poached egg, mushrooms, 1 x WM toast - P, S, 1/2 HEB
L - pasta, parmesan, crabsticks, grapes - HEA (bit of a mixture to use stuff up!)
D - grilled pork chops, golden savoury rice, green beans, carrots - P, S
HEA - milk
HEA - parmesan
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - gin and slimline - 3.5 (have discovered that Aldi mini slimline tonic cans are 0.5 syn!)
Have a good day all

Morning all, back of reality for me now! Definitely need to get back on plan and stick to it as have put on nearly half stone and only have until 21 December to shift at least 4lb of it! I'm definitely going to need to be on damage limitation until my next WI and keeping low syn. Definitely need to leave the alcohol alone for a while as have had far more than usual over the last 2 weeks - one of the problems of All Inclusive of course. Still we had a good time and it was great to see my sister again but can't believe how much she's aged over the last year or so. Although we went out for walks every day for at least an hour we didn't really get up any speed as my sister is now only able to walk much slower than we usually do but DH and I have decided that on the days he doesn't play golf we'll be going for a decent walk - hopefully this will also help with the weight loss!
Well done everyone of the losses over the last couple of weeks. @SingleSue I'm really glad that your consultant has been able to come up with a way for you to still do SW with WI every 3 weeks (suspect she's put you down as a shift worker!)
Definitely need to go shopping but need to do a menu plan at least for the next few days so that I can stick to plan. I've had a good freezer rummage and managed to find nought for today's meals at least so will probably go shopping later on today in the hopes we might be able to pick up some good YS deals.
As you can image I've got absolutely masses of washing to do but have made a start on it this morning - one load done and another in the machine. Once the frost has cleared I'll get it out on the line for a few hours to hopefully get rid of the worst of the water before putting on to the airer to fully dry. Think it's going to be like this for at least a week unless I bag it all up and take it to the launderette in Morries car park!
Today's plan:
B - porridge, mixed frozen fruit - HEB, S, F
L - jacket potato, beans, grated cheese (from freezer) - HEA2; F
D - mixed bean goulash & rice - P; S; F (DH will have the chicken and chickpea curry & rice) - both these from freezer so we may swap over, will have to see which one DH want but suspect it'll. be the curry!
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese (won't be a fully portion as not much left in the bag!)
HEB - porridge
Syns - 0
Have a good day everyone.

Well done on your pound @Vegastare. 👏👏👏
Good to see you back @joedenise. I think, if I were you, I'd go to the laundrette and clear all the holiday washing. It's a PITA having it hanging around (literally ☹️) the house at this time of the year.
You do have to be careful with tonic @Coxy11. IIRC Aldi's cans are Fever Tree lookalikes and they too have syns. I generally buy the bottles of syn free slimline as I don't mind drinking tonic on its own to finish it off.
Another day and another Christmas lunch here . 😁 I had smoked salmon, pork (with mash and greens) and cheese today and a couple of (small) glasses of red today. Nothing deep fried so probably fairly low syn overall except for a slice of bread with starter and some crackers. Like yesterday, I probably won't have anything else today.0
