Well done on your pound @Coxy11. ๐๐๐
Sounds like you had a good, if expensive, day out yesterday. Chastening news about your neighbour though. So very sad, especially so at this time of the year.
I had quite a low syn evening yesterday. I had a small slice of my friend's blue cheese cheesecake and a little cream with red fruits. Other than that it was just salad dressings and some nuts in Waldorf salad. No booze though which is the biggest saving.ย
Today's EE plan -ย

Morning all,
That's an amazing amount to raise @bubbs - really well done to you. Hope you get lots of goodies for the refuge. Thanks also for the veg wars info!
We had a nice pub lunch with BFF and her DH. BFF and I shared nachos and then we both had the roast turkey. Too much food to finish it and they'd done something weird with the YP so thankfully I only ate a bit of it. I drove so no alcohol for me, but I did have a couple of rum n cokes whilst watching the football, plus some crisps - oh dear. Back on the wagon today. We have the day off to go to Nephew's grave then onto the big shopping mall for Christmas shopping.
Food today:
B - fruit wheats, mullerlight, blueberries - HEB, 0.5, S
L - will be out so need to choose something NOT bread based
D - prawn and chilli spaghetti - free
HEA - milk
Syns - 0.5 that I know about...
Have a good day all,

Morning all.ย Well done on your loss @Coxy11 but that meal sounds a bit too out of my price range ๐ณย Thanks for the veg info @bubbs and well done on raising so much for charity.ย It's our turn to do deliveries for the local community food bank thing (it's not just a food bank, more like a community hub thing) this weekend and I've made up some Christmas treat bags to hand out too - hopefully will bring some cheer to those in the community.ย ย
Finally tested negative this morning ๐ฅณย Feeling a lot better but taste and smell are still absent ๐ย Have managed to lose half a pound though despite DH feeding me non-stop carbs over the last week and a bit (he wouldn't let me in the kitchen so had to rely on him and his limited cooking abilities!)ย Only 1 lb to go to hit my end of year target (basically into another weight bracket) but not going to put too much pressure on myself.ย
Had some scrambled egg and toast for breakfast, lunch is a vegetable stew and dinner is chicken dhal with rice and some added green beans.ย Hope everyone has a great day, time for another coffee I think!Emergency Fund - ยฃ8572.39 / ยฃ10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - ยฃLISA 24/25 - ยฃ3200 / ยฃ4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
