    Morning!

Some great bargains there @bubbs! I saw a leg of lamb reduced in Ts the other day and it was still £22!

I'm in the London office today. Am mightily annoyed with one of our middle managers who made my colleague cry yesterday over something that was out of her control. I'm so cross on her behalf. Years ago this happened to me and my then boss told me off in front of a room of colleagues, so I waited until I was calmer and took him into a room and told him how unprofessional he had behaved. He never did it again and was so shocked I'd spoken out. Have told my colleague to do the same, but if I see him first I will definitely say something - and breathe....

Sofa-gate continues. Have been refused a refund or swop on the sofas (that don't match the chair - chair description is wrong on the website and says it has feather cushions when it doesn't, so a clear case for Trading Standards...). Have instead been offered the love seat which is wider. No-one called me back yesterday so I've sent yet another email saying I would accept the love seat at no extra cost and how are they going to compensate me for my stress and wasted time choosing another sofa. I hear M&S do lovely hampers?! Have cc'd the CEO every time I email. And breathe again.....

    Food today:
B - fruit - will get some different fresh pots of fruit on my way in (probably at M&S!) - free
L - HM BNS and carrot soup, WM roll - S, HEB
D - lightly dusted cod fillet, peas, broccoli - 4.5
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar plus 4.5 so 7.5 total

    Have a good day all
    Coxy

Morning all.  I hate when people are so unprofessional @Coxy11.  I had a member of my staff start shouting at me once in the office and I calmly asked him to come with me into a meeting room where through gritted teeth I told him that if he ever had a problem with someone, that shouting about it in front of others was not the right thing to do.  Got praised by some HR managers who witnessed his outburst, for how I dealt with the situation, and my response was amazement that not everyone dealt with those situations in the same way.  I've always been taught "praise in public, criticise in private", it's just common courtesy.  Sorry you and your colleague have to deal with ignorant idiots.  And hope sofagate gets resolved quickly!

Love the bargains @bubbs, I can never find anything like that around here!

I'm sure the brown sugar definitely added something to the toastie @Vegastare!

Last day at work for me today this week as booked a couple of days off for pre-Christmas relaxation - I'm making up for all the years when I had to work non-stop through Christmas and New Year!  Have a hygienist appointment at the dentist in the morning and then having my haircut tomorrow afternoon (for the first time in 6 months!) In between there's lots of shopping to do as while I have all the presents sorted, it's all the other random bits that I don't have so need to try and get all of those sorted over the next couple of days!

Had porridge for breakfast today, will be the last of the leftover veggie stew for lunch and then dinner is spaghetti bolognese because I just fancy it.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Have weighed on my home scales today (I weigh at home each week before SW to get a guide), it is registering a 2lb loss compared to the reading last week.

It has been a pretty unexciting week food wise here, just the normal and sticking to plan but next week I have the work Christmas meal out to look forward to, luckily the same day as weigh in.

It's going to feel weird (but so much less stressful time wise), not going to SW today but now mum thinks I will have all this extra time to take her out to the gas shop, erm nope, it means my boss doesn't have to relieve me early and we can do a proper handover!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Evening all, congrats on weight loss Sue.
As for bosses I had a beauty - but I didn't rise to the bait but it was noted by others. She was off sick I was on leave and in wafted senior mangers from our main office, everyone was asked about her challenging behaviour.  She didn't last long after that, it was a dreadful time as we all were told we could not discuss it and I think she knew something was going on as we had to cc all email with her to area manager.

D   LO yesterday with carrots and baked beans.

HEA Milk  HEB wbix and bread. 2 syns butter(ate out not sure spread)

Syns 6 glass red ( really needed it)
