Well done on your loss @ruby_eskimo. ππΌππΌππΌ You're well on track to meet your end of year target and great news that you've tested negative. ππΌ
Thanks for the heads up on veg wars @bubbs. I had wondered whether it would happen this year. Last year I batch cooked lots of swede and carrot mash and some oven chips. Hoping to do the same this year if I can make freezer space.
Sorry your Yorkshire was a disappointment @Coxy11 . I need to add 1 syn to yesterday's total as we had some Yorkshires from the freezer.Β Β I've never reheated them before and they worked really well.
I'm hoping for three fully on plan days before our next festive meal on Thursday. I've ordered 3 courses so syns will definitely be involved.Β
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, bacon (P), mushrooms (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), potato (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, cauli steak, green beans, tomatoes (S)
Syns- 00 -
Evening all
Well done Ruby.
Maman hope the others will start soon with the veg
Food today

What fish did you have today @bubbs? Didnβt you used to have that cod in parsley sauce? π€ I've not seen any of that recently.Β0 -

Morning all,
Hope you're feeling brighter @ruby_eskimo and well done on the loss, though it's not nice to be ill!
Laid flowers at nephew's grave yesterday then went to a large shopping mall. First thing we did was have a hot drink and a cake! I had tea and a raspberry muffin which was lovely mmmm. Lunch was a Greggs sweet potato bhaji and rice (4 syns), plus a pot of mango chunks. DH had KFC. We had prawn and chilli spaghetti last night. So not a great day syn-wise but glad I could find something low syn for lunch.Β
DH in Solihull today and I'm WFH. Food will be:
B - Poached egg, 1 WM toast, tomatoes - P, 1/2 HEB, S
L - LO chilli con carne and rice - free
D - chicken with tomato and mascarpone, mini potatoes, brocolli, carrots - 5
HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Have a good day all.

Morning all.Β Fish has been very hit and miss lately @maman (think it's to do with the changes in quotas due to a brexit issue, especially around cod).Β Love those cod in parsley sauce packs, used to have them with pilau rice when I was a kid and have no idea where that combination came from but it was my comfort food that my mum used to make me ππ€·ββοΈπ
I'm sure you'll get to your new target in no time @beanielou and I think the tea and cake was definitely warranted yesterday @Coxy11.Β Sending hugs your way.
Had to take DH to a funeral yesterday afternoon (his old manager that he'd only been for a coffee with the week before he passed π’) and almost froze in the car - couldn't believe how cold it's got.Β I think I may have finally tested negative this morning which would be a great thing as forgot I have my bi-annual haircut and a hygienist appointment on Thursday!Β Β
Breakfast this morning is probably going to be more scrambled egg on toast, lunch is more vegetable stew and then dinner is one of those morrisons fish cakes with some mushy peas and mixed green veg.

Afternoon all, sorry yesterday ran away with me.Β Out most of the day.Β Must tell you all my dieting mayhem.Β Start well order ham and tom toasted sandwich which had cheese on and did not realize !!! then I decided it needed some pepper, so merrily started to pull apart and add pepper only to wonder what type it was!! then realized it was brown sugar.
Anyway wafted most off and it certainly added to the taste.
Agree with you about the fish - I have stopped buying in Morrisons.Β Hubby calls in a Waitrose if passing with his work on a Friday as 20% off and must admit he does great with his buying.Β It really is fresh.
So today
B wbix pear and blues FFy
LΒ slice toast laughing cow toms and large beetroot.
DΒ H M mince beef hash SW recipe(minus baked beans) carrots and beetroot.
HEA Milk and cheese
HEB bread and 1 wbix
Syns low fat spread0.5 and skinny bar 30 -
Had to laugh about the brown sugar @Vegastare. Hope it didn't spoil it too much. π€£
Fish is becoming more of a treat than meat these days. I've been lucky enough to get some Ocado fish in the Company Shop lately, mostly salmon. I do eat some tinned mackerel and sardines and it's always my first choice on restaurant menus. Shame about Morrison's as they always had a good fish counter. βΉοΈ0
