Afternoon all, the forecast rain was much later arriving than expected but it is absolutely horrible now - cold, wet and miserable. It it so dark it feels like it's time to shut the blinds and that's ridiculous at about 2pm!
I'm using up most of the fresh food over the next day or two! Today it's the last of the salad, onions and garlic. Also the end of the soft pittas although it wouldn't have mattered if they hadn't been used as they were in the freezer. Think I'm going to have to do a fairly big shop when we come back as even the cupboards are looking a bit bare!
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash topped with fried eggs - P; S; F
L - falafels and salad in soft pitta - HEB; P; S
D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 2
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - 1/2 Tbs butter 2
Have a good day everyone.

Hi all,
WI tonight after going completely back to basics and lost 3lbs! Just goes to show much had snuck in without really noticing. DD was pleased with 1.5lb loss hopefully she'll lose the rest of last weeks gain next week.
Funny week this week with planning, have a funeral Wednesday lunch time so need to pack some snacks as I expect the wake to be full of beige foods.
Out for a Chinese on Thursday so trying to plan around that and not go mad, think I'm almost there with my choices. Then out most the weekend so need to get prepared and take my meals out.
My Mum had a nasty fall today, and suffering quite badly and ended up with stitches in her leg and can't use her arm. It's really shaken her up so will have to go and help her out this week. She won't be able to take too much of my Dad playing nurse. 😆Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Well done on your loss @annabanana82. 👏👏👏
You're right, buffets are invariably full of beige food. We have a funeral on Friday but it's far away from home so I'll have to eat something. 🤔
Sorry to hear about your mum, hope she's so on the mend.0 -
