Evening all, DH's MRI went to OK and we ended up at an Indian restaurant as the pub kitchen was closed when we got there at 7pm! Bit early we thought to be closed but hey ho. The Indian was lovely but pretty expensive but it was the only place open to eat and we were starving! Good job I'm not weighing again until 21 December!
I'm sure you'll shift that lb this week @maman. Very unlike you to go out of target range.
I don't think tinned stuff really goes off - I've used plenty of tinned stuff that more out of date than your tin of carrots! I quite like tinned carrots, like @maman said they're like a completely different vegetable to the fresh ones. It's one of those veg that tastes different depending on how you eat it.

Morning all,
I didn't manage to get on yesterday as I was in the office and just couldn't catch a break. Was very weepy on the way into work. Weather was foul, flashbacks from 6 years ago, general work dreads.... I took in some HM soup and a roll plus some grapes for lunch. No yog to make overnight oats so I got a pastry from the coffee shop - but synned it as 12 and had a hifi on the train home, so within my 15.
Well done on your loss @Vegastare
I'm sure you'll be back in range in no time @maman
Glad DH's MRI went okay @joedenise and hope you enjoyed the Indian meal.
Today I have a quiet-ish day WFH. There's washing to do and we also have to research new sofas as there's an issue with the armchair we have (photo on the website looks nothing like the chair we received and doesn't match the sofas??) so we need to start from scratch grrr..
Food today:
B - poached egg, spinach, 1 x WM toast - P, 1/2 HEB
L - 4 x corn thins, mini babybel light, tomatoes - 4, HEB, S
D - grilled pork chop, frozen mixed veg, golden savoury rice - P, free
HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - 4
Have a good day all

Morning all - sorry to hear you're out of range @maman but sure you'll get back there in no time 👍
Glad DH's MRI went well @joedenise - think it's a thing now to get an Indian after a hospital appointment now!
Sorry to hear about your day yesterday @Coxy11 - I also had a very draining day in the office yesterday and just want to get through today so I can try and switch off.
Have my best friend coming to stay for the weekend so need to just get the final bits of cleaning done and make up the spare bed for her tonight. She's coming at some point tomorrow and we're having some chilled time planned in, a lovely sunday roast in a nice pub and then a trip to Winchester on Monday to see the Christmas markets (just hope the weather holds out!)
Going to make some porridge for breakfast, lunch is leftover prawn risotto and dinner is leftover pulled pork buns with some chips and salad.

The one constancy with work this week is that just when you think things can't get any worse - they do! Another, who is very thankful it's Friday.
Food was a lot better yesterday but think I've already done too much damage and will be over the moon if I get a STS at WI tomorrow but honestly expecting a gain.
Well done on your loss @Vegastare and you will be back in range in no time @maman
Hope today is better @Coxy11 x
Your weekend sounds amazing and very chilled, enjoy @ruby_eskimo
Today's plan:
B - bran flakes (HEXB), f/f Greek yoghurt, apple
L - veggie omelette with pickles
D - beef casserole (with onions, carrot and turnip), potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans
Hope you're all having a good day.0 -
Afternoon all, don't know where the time has gone so far today! Well I do really - it's doing the washing and hanging it out on the line! There was nearly a week's washing to do because we just haven't had any dry weather but today is OK, just wish there was a bit of wind though to help dry it! Will need to strip the bed and get the bedding washed tomorrow which is also forecast to be dry and then that's it as it's forecast to rain from Monday for the rest of the week - but we're off Thursday so at least we'll have a bit of warmth and sunshine for the next couple of weeks!
I'm just so glad I don't work any more! It was stressful enough when I was working all those years ago and can definitely say life is so much less stressful now. Hope all those of you working can have nice chilled weekends to get over the awful working week.
Good luck for tomorrow @Jellybaby for an STS but you never know it might even be a loss. Good luck to everyone else weighing tomorrow as well.
I was obviously way over syns yesterday so line drawn and try and claw back what I can but not going to stress about it with not weighing again until 21 December! Today's plan:
B - porridge, mixed frozen fruit, skinny syrup - HEB; S; F
L - jacket potato, beans - F
D - beef and barley stew, mash - P; S; F (there's plenty of veg and not much beef in the stew!)
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.

Yes, hope everyone has a good weekend. 😁
Enjoy yourself with your friend @ruby_eskimo. I used to volunteer at the refectory restaurant in Winchester Cathedral . It was always super busy when the Christmas Market was on but food was good. I liked that I could have a SW friendly JP.
Same here with the washing @joedenise. I dried 2 loads today. It must be a week since I did any, can always tell by counting the pants! 🤣
I've had on plan breakfast (egg, beans and mushrooms) and lunch (bubble and squeak, egg and pickles) and no syns... yet. Out for dinner tonight with DD2 and then I can estimate what I have left for the rest of the week. 😊0 -
Evening all
I will be very surprised if i have a loss this week, feel so bloated, get up feeling like it, said to my friend at the beginning of the week. Not like me never feel like this 😏
