Morning all,
sorry I haven’t been on for a while. Everytime I come on this thread there’s always a lot of new posts to catch up on.My weigh in wasn’t good on Thursday as I put on 2lb, so wasn’t happy at all.At the moment hubby isn’t well and has been passing blood when going to the loo. Today he’s got an assessment at the hospital and then a colorectal camera next week. So we will see how that goes. Will try and post back again later. xxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -
Morning!
It's WI this morning - I too feel bloated @bubbs so we shall see what the scales say later. I'm not staying to group as I'm going to a Christmas craft fayre with a friend. There may be cake and coffee involved, but will try to be good
DS2 is here for the weekend as there's yet another party - his GF and chums are all turning 18. He tends to sort food out for himself so we don't have to factor him in. Not sure what we're having tonight - I spoke to Stepmum about her liver recipe so may try that or do spag bol - have everything in for both. Food shopping tomorrow.
Back later with WI news!

Morning all, the weather isn't looking too promising at the moment, it's definitely rained overnight as the ground is very wet. I really wanted to get the bedding washed and on the line today as the only dry day forecast but not going to strip it yet in case it isn't dry! If I'm going to have to dry it indoors it can wait until Wednesday and then stay on the airer for the fortnight we're away! It should definitely be dry by then!!!
Sorry to hear about your DH @Abbafan1972; hope all goes well at the hospital for him. It must be very worrying for you both.
Good luck for WI @Coxy11. Enjoy the craft fair with your friend and try to limit the syns with the cake and coffee! You can always reign it back in for the rest of the week.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - toasted cheese sandwich - HEB; HEA2
D - HM faggots; mash; veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - bread
Syns - LF sausages 2; couple small glasses of wine 8
Have a good day everyone.

That's worrying about your DH @Abbafan1972 but good to know he's getting the tests he needs. Do keep us posted and don't feel you have to read all of the posts. Lots are about washing anyway. 🤣
Hope you didn't overdo the cake and that WI was kind to you @Coxy11. 😊
Washing basket is empty! 👍 Have to finish off a few bits indoors but it is November after all.
We enjoyed our meal last night. I shared a bottle of wine, crab and prawn salad had some avocado and mayo then sea bream with crushed potatoes and crispy kale had a creamy sauce. I'm allowing 30 syns and 🤞 that'll be enough.
I picked up 2% turkey mince yesterday for £1.75 for 500g. I've made 40 meatballs this afternoon so they can go in the oven alongside tonight's dinner.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), tomatoes and pickles (S)
D- chicken jambalaya (P, S, F)
Syns - weekend wine 😁0 -
Your meal sounds lovely @maman. Do like a bit of sea bream but don't often see it on a menu around here. Very occasionally see sea bass which I also like.
Have you added herbs to the turkey mince for a bit of flavour as turkey and chicken mince can be a bit bland. You're going to have lots to freeze. Will you have them alongside your roast dinners a bit like the onion and rosemary sausage balls?
I didn't bother doing the bedding after all, glad I didn't as the heavens opened this afternoon while we were at DD1s so would have got soaked. Will do it Wednesday morning and it can go on the airer while we're away! Also means won't need to worry about getting it done too soon after getting home - there will be enough holiday washing!

Good to get a STS as you're feeling bloated @bubbs. I'd have loved to maintain. 😉
I add dill, coriander and parsley plus seasoning, couscous and onion to the meatballs @joedenise. They are still quite a delicate flavour but go well with the tomato sauce. I've never thought of using them as stuffing balls. It's a good idea as much cheaper than LM sausages. I could do thm with rosemary. 🤔 I have snacked on them as (hot or cold), they make nice party nibbles.
Forecast here is best for Tuesday, every other day rain is promised. ☹️ Unless like @bubbs you're obviously wealthy enough to use the drier! 🤣🤣🤣1 -
Rain forecast here every day until we go away! Certainly not wealthy enough to use the dryer!!! I've got one but not used it for a couple of years now so not even sure if it works!

Hi all, a wee half pound on for me. I’m really pleased with that as I was expecting so much more. I’m having wine syns tonight as it’s been quite a day with the parents 🙈 😁 Food wise I’ve been on plan.
Good your DH has been seen quickly @Abbafan1972
Lovely, bright but very cold day here today so washing done but spun twice and on the airier. A friend of a friend has invited me out for coffee tomorrow so thinking it over.0
